Hey everyone!
I've been thinking about DoC the Lost prisoner since that last version, and how I can turn him into a worthwhile encounter after he escapes the Bastion. I think there's a lot of potential in making him more than just an encounter you can find in the barrens as usual.
I wanna make it so he seeks you out instead.
Basically, he'd find you when you explore either side of the Barrens, and can visit you in your camp if you get exiled.
I'd like him to guide play...

Got a new NPC for this month's version!
I've been thinking about the Lost encounter rework for a while now, and in a few this NPC is the first part of that.
He is the same werewolf as the one you defeat in the intro, but has now been imprisonned in the Bastion's palace.
Make sure you visit him often over the duration of the game, as his behavior changes based on how much time he spends in his cell.

Hello everyone!
You guys might remember that I mentioned adding a new NPC to the March release. That NPC will be the main focus for this month's version. I planned to have it finished in March but some family related health emergencies made me miss the deadline unfortunately.
To give some more details on that new NPC, he is the Lost Werewolf that you defeated in the intro. He is imprisoned in the center building of the Bastion and will help you find the way ...

Many new assets came in for this month!
It's so exciting to see parts of the game be elevated by sound and visual that way.

Sorry again for the delay in this release, still there's a lot of fun new stuff in this build that I'm excited to share.

Now that the game has well-established encounters, it's time to tie them to the main story.
This is the first pass to implement this idea, where an NPC gives you quests and challenges that lead the player to fight encounters more than once.

Now that the game has some well-established encounters, I think it's time to tie them together to the main story. I mentioned it in last month's dev notes, and so I wanna have something out there for this build.
The first steps will be to break down parts of the intro/early encounters and make them work with the main story. The idea would be that the things you do in the open world should work towards the main story within the Bastion and vice versa...
