Exploring Krakore's Mausoleum!

Traveler!

This month we try a new workflow process that we believe will let us create better adventures and TTRPG supplements. We're packing 3-4 map creations into a single, longer-format adventure that allows us to pack more content into our one-shot adventures!

This is Krakore's Mausoleum, a two-level family crypt where the fabled artifact, Krakore's Mirror, is hidden. This is going to be featured in our upcoming first longer adventure Krakore's Mirror!  Coming TOMO...

Here's the .psd file for 438 Krakore's Mausoleum. Notice that it is necessary to have Photoshop to use it. Inside you will find that it is all white. That is the uppermost layer, I only use it to make the file preview smaller in size. Once you remove that uppermost layer you'll see the illustration. (it's just one click)

Most of the illustration elements are properly named and arranged in folders in the layer area. Some assets like textures or smart objects have been ra...

The Brukesian Duchy - Public Release

Denizens!

Hi there, it's been two months of lots of work and trying out new things. I have a few announcements to make. We've finished the Brukesian Duchy Hexcrawl and it is now live on Drivethru RPG as a stand-alone OSR product. It's 90 pages long and includes all maps together in a single download.

We've already sent this to Silver Coin supporters (3$ USD). This release replaces the Dungeon Vault Magazine for the months of December and January!

Lost Shrine of Valandris

Traveler!

This adventure is about an ancient elven shrine. The elves that built it venerated a goddess named Valandris. The shrine contains a secret treasure vault which contains valuable items donated as a tribute. They left the lands hundreds of years ago but their sites of worship remained.

Today, a group of rabid, barbarian pigmen with worgs has taken over one of those forgotten shrines. Its entrance is covered by a large boulder. They've defiled it and spread their filth all ...

A town for myconids!

Traveler!

A town where sentient-intelligent myconids mingle and attempt to copy the humanoid societies around them. This is a strange place that looks wonderful but grows out of decay and rotting matter. The large grey mushroom at its center is a sentient telepath that other myconids obey and respect.

Speaking with the Greyshroom to negotiate or request a cure for a fungal infestation is one of the main reasons for other creatures to visit the myconid settlement. Visitors would do...

433 Astral Dial

Traveler from a foreign land!

In the northern depths of the Misty Forest, a strange relic of the past awaits unknown to the human settlers of the Brukesian Duchy. The centaurs call it the Astral Dial and are the most proficient in its use. This ancient elven device is a kind of clock/observatory of astral bodies and planes in the Astral Sea. Its dials and runes turn around over weeks or months and can be read to interpret all kinds of arcane teachings. The centaurs do not comprehend it ...

A visit to the forest core!

Traveler!

The Dewborn fey race arrived at the Misty Forest two thousand years ago. They came through a planar portal that stood open for days. Dewborn refugees and other fey creatures escaped a terrible war. After their arrival, the portal diminished and collapsed onto itself. The arcane energies that created it coalesced into a large crystalline structure, similar to a cut diamond but too large to be one. This memento of the coming of the fey diaspora is now known as the Forest Core. View Post

Visit the castle of the fey lords!

Nothing but a myth. The words pronounced by Duke Crane when his army’s commanding officer insisted that finding the Jade Palace was paramount for the Brukesian Duchy’s advances. They all thought the place was an invention of the elf-like Dewborn.

Regardless of what humans think, the palace exists. The Dewborn Princes inhabit the marvelous structure and rule over their people from its magically-hidden location. Loyal allies and important Dewborn live in the palace as ...

Will someone put and end to that savage cult?

Traveler!

Little is known of an evil human-centric cult that has a hidden lair in the forests a few days from the capital, Crimsonwall. The zealot cult members attack travelers on the western road, dispossess them, and then sacrifice them in obscure rituals to gain immunity to a local affliction.

The forces of the law in Crimsonwall have not yet decided what to do since the cult's lair must be too close to the itinerant parade's route to be safe. In reality, they are afraid too ma...
