Brochure Adventures! Say what?

Hi

We're so happy to announce a new line of products. These are adventures in brochure form, similar in concept to one-page dungeons. But a brochure has more real-estate to include more details and fun stuff.

This product is available for my supporters on patreon but it is also available as a stand-alone product in Drivethru RPG.

BA1. Cult of the Hive (Photoshop)

Here's the .psd file for BA1. Cult of the Hive. Notice that it is necessary to have Photoshop to use it. Inside you will find that it is all white. That is the uppermost layer, I only use it to make the file preview smaller in size. Once you remove that uppermost layer you'll see the illustration. (it's just one click)

Most of the illustration elements are properly named and arranged in folders in the layer area. Some assets like textures or smart objects have been rast...

Brochure Adventure #1 - Cult of the Hive

Denizens of the Tower!

Lately I had been thinking of cool ways to portray dungeons and adventures and decided it'd be a cool idea to do a trifold brochure with a full one-shot scenario. This is how we're starting a new series of brochure adventures. Similar to my one-page adventures, these include everything in the brochure and they are all system neutral.

This brochure adventure is about an evil cult that recently shifted their focus onto a colony of giant ants that lives under t...

305 The Golden Assembly of States

Hi there, traveler!

Here's another attempt at a political study. The Golden Assembly of States is the capital of a large kingdom which recently abandoned the monarchy system and now works under a quasi-democracy. Though it is not well implemented yet. The last king died and the prince refused to take the king mantle and helped the country become a different thing. This is difficult because it has not been done before, and also because neighbor kingdoms see the new system as an insult to...

A treasure hoard lost to time...

Visitors from foreign lands!

This is a medium-sized dungeon/ encounter area by a fluid lava pond. A long rough stairs passage leads down to a place known only in legends as the Tomb of the Three Brothers. They were kings eons ago and no one remembers their names or the name of their kingdom. The three of them rest here, two of them now roam the place as angry spirits who long for revenge. In life, they were prey to bad intentions and evil and so is their fate in death. The third and you...

301-303 Kakrut's Haunted Park

Denizens of the Tower!

Here is the combination of three map-worth of creativity. This is a combined project that encompasses the previous two releases and a new one (visible in the image above.

As explained before, this short adventure is about an evil rakshasa who impersonates a salesman. He sells varied trinkets to townsfolk. The trinkets cause them to go out at night and approach the location of a portal. In there, people are his victims and their bodies and souls slowly wear a...

302 Kakruk's Haunted Park 2-3

Denizens of the Tower!

This is the second installment (2/3) of Kakruk's Haunted Park. This is found below the previous map. A basement of sorts. The colored slide in the first map continues here and ends in Area 27. Areas 28, 29, and 36 are possible locations for the final fight with Kakruk, the Rakshasa. But that is all covered in the PDF document that is coming with part III.

I've included the usual variants for this map but I think all of them will be included again with part I...

Denizens of the Tower!

It appears like we've been MAI for the last ten days or so but we're working on another multi-map project and a LARGER than usual included adventure. This work will be divided in three installments.

The adventure is about a mysterious figure that tricks people to come into his magical haunted theme park. This figure gives people strange trinkets that carry a terrible spell that compels them to come to a portal outside of town that transports them inside. The...

Map/Adventure #300! The Great Father Tree

Traveler!

We're celebrating a big milestone in my writing and illustrating career.  This is map #300 in the numbered series. I'm really happy I've gotten this far. When I started making maps I never envisioned making so many of them and being the author of so many adventures and interesting locations. So, I decided to goa little over board with this one just for fun and make a kind of Great Deku Tree from the Legend of Zelda series.

The "dungeon" is inside of...

299 Fort Nimbus

Traveler from a far away land!

This is Fort Nimbus. A small fortified settlement meant to protect a border between two kingdoms. It features a keep, a walled courtyard and barracks. The roof of the two-story keep features four scorpions (ballistae). For cases of extreme need when all hope is lost, there is a secret exit underground that leads to an opening 1 mile away from the fort. This exit is seldom used or inspected so there is no way to know if the tunnel is sound or even still the...

Let's fly away in your floating castle!

Travelers for faraway lands!

I just finished this flying fortress map. The map is heavily inspired in an illustration I saw once in a pathfinder module. This fortress has two stories, and several towers. It was built by a pair of elf friends over the course of a decade. They had some problems between them and one of them decided that summoning a demon to demonstrate his abilities was a good idea. As usual this did not work and the summoner was killed int he process. The demon took over ...

A greedy union won't release its hold on a small town!

Travelers from far away lands!

I've been working on this one-street town over the past few days. It resembles a western-style  settlement but it is not located in an arid area. I wrote an interesting adventure about this place. It is a mining town, most people in the area work in an iron and silver mine and do their best to survive. What really sucks for this people is that an organization called Red Fang Union pretty much owns them. The Union paid for their homes and the workers/t...
