Hey y'all, not too many arts this week.

I got back from Sizecon and immediately had to attend to some family matters. But things are wrapping up, so I should be back in full next week or so.

Hobbyist VN: The Dark Tower

I had an impulsive brainstorm and rampage during the weekend, and did a bunch of backgrounds and some test designs for a possible visual novel/simulation game.

Weekly Posts! Colours n Sketches!

Mix of commissions and concepts this week!

I was feeling a little unsatisfied with my art, so I took some time to do some doodles and brainstorming about why that was. Tried tweaking a few things and ultimately eased my mind a bit. Getting the work done is my priority especially when my dissatisfaction with my style is an aimless one!

Interactive Comic Pitch: Contained

I've been debating trying something different for a patreon project- sort of the middle ground between a game and a comic or sequence. An interactive comic!

The idea is that patrons, (undecided if all patrons or 5$ patrons) would have input on the protagonist's actions and event outcomes within the comic. And we'd follow a character as they awoke in a contained room, captured for some nefarious and smexeh purpose by a mysterious being. Transformative shenanigans would ensue, with variou...

Weekly Drawings!

Still working through the burnout, I've been doing more to try to minimize my anxiety or improve my sleep. I had a couple days this week where I didn't "feel" burnt out, so I think that's a good sign!

This week I mostly focused on stuff in prep for Sizecon in June, and unwinded with Sorcerer doodles or colouring experiments!

Two pages this week! I'm pretty proud of that! Hope's feeling conflicted, she's clearly attracted to David, but thinks so monogamously- Ah well, I'm sure she'll be clear, honest, and deal with it in a healthy way-

Though that word- "but" is so intimidating, could really shake up a girl's confidence.

Whoof, that's a lot of drawing this week actually!

I'm still struggling with my burnout, but to still get some drawing done- I supplemented the week with a lot more indulgent or brainstormy drawing, the kind that's less intimidating to work on when I'm not feeling up to snuff.

The two ideas of the incubus and the sorcerer really were scratching a creative itch I have- and Sorcerer may stay around for funsies time, we'll see!

I was able to finish a comic page this week!

Trying to work through burnout, but not exacerbate the burnout is a challenge. I found that working on the harder bits like hands and faces first and then simplifying the work as I went helped.

Anyway- here's another page of Hope being a bit ridiculous. Though, David probably should learn some things about personal space. Even if Hope did squeeze up against him first!

Weekly Drawings! <3

I had a lot more momentum this week! I don't think I'm back to normal levels yet, my ability to focus comes and goes. But, I am happy with what I got done this week. A commission sequence for the YCH, some Caliph stuff, and doodles!

Spring Burnout is a rough go, I'm questioning every idea I have and my commitment/attention span issues are ramped up to 11. But, working through it gently and hopefully should be able to keep getting stuff done!

Weekly Drawings! (Some Horror Ones)

Hey y'all, it's a smaller update this week. Spring is a really hard time on me mentally, and I often struggle hardest with burnout in the April/May time frame. So this week I was struggling to get any work done, which led to a lot of stream of consciousness art to not strain anything.

Which included a lot more body horror doodles, huh.

Anyway, I can't promise that I'll be able to quickly get to my production pace goals next week. But I've danced this dance before- so I'...

Hope's still getting used to her new implants, constantly underestimating the size or how prominent they are. I'm sure she'll get used to them..... maybe.... possible.

For now, she's dealing with new kinds of attention around the office >:D

Fillings and Drawings!

This week, I wanted to try something new as a change of pace. I debated between themed commissions (the prosthetic/cyber brainstorm) and trying out a YCH fillable pose thing. I ultimately decided to do that- so most of these pics are from that!

It's been an interesting experiment- A solid amount of interest and smooth to do. Maybe I'll expand the selection sometime.

Oh, and scary clown girl. There's always time for a scary clown girl.

I finished all the commissions I had on my plate, so that meant more time for doodlin' especially when the liquor was busted out for the holiday yesterday!

A lot of commissions done this week! Including some that I'd qualify as body horror! So be warned! If you're squeamish, stop at the orcs. We're getting weird this week!

But this week in general sums up what I love most about this job. The things people want to see can be so varied, from classic roundness, to pin ups, to fantasy tropes, to memes, to some things I couldn't conceive!
