Patreon Update!

Changes are coming to my patreon, and my overall business plan. My financial responsibilities have changed, and so I'm afraid I won't be able to committing to experimental projects and aspirations with the same time I had when starting this patreon. This means that my really large ambition, Size Queens, has to be put onto the backburner until my schedule and income stabilizes.

This means that my patreon will become much more focused on early access, and interaction with the Sketch Book ...

Feel like a Monster - Practice Sketches

Native Fantasy and Horror

Without many commissions this week to focus on, this week had time to draw some other concepts. These are my "safe for work" concept arts for a pair of projects I'd consider doing if I ever had the time and income to spare.

The first is a high-fantasy/action manga interpretation of my Tribe's myths. Featuring a young adventurer coming face to face with powerful spirits.

Quick Update

Sorry for the lack of updates folks, with the completion of the mechanics test I've switched my focus back to owed commissions. And to brainstorming how better to take commissions to prevent burnout and give time to work on other things. I'll be trying that when I finish this batch.

Programming Update

Been working on Size Queens and learning as much as I can to get the features I want. The thing I'm struggling with most is definitely how screens interact with each other. I've got the basics down, but making it function *well* is the other thing.

So essentially, I want Size Queens to play out as a classic dating sim. The nostalgic kind.

So I've been learning to program, and testing out in a pre-alpha mechanics test.

Quick Update:

So I've been trying to devote half an hour to writing out the scenario every so often- just little bits in between commission work.

It's interesting trying to write out what I have in mind, since there's one *core* story of what I'm having have happen, but there are conditional statements and choices that shift that core over slightly depending on the context.

Essentially- while there's only one narrative, there are... "quasi" paths-
