It's time for Sizecon Micro! And so- it's time to see the stuff I've been working on! Again, it's not too much- as I was in the final stretch for work on Sizecon Micro~! Which has gone very well this weekend!

Quick Update

Howdy y'all, it's the week before Sizecon Micro!

And again, I don't have too much of an update this week. I got all seven pages of my ongoing "Maxwell and the Alternomicon" comic for my 5$ patrons. But for everyone else- it was another empty week. I took a few days off of work to go to a Fet Weekend on the mainland, hoping it would be a good networking thing. It wasn't like- super great for art- but I had a good time. But it meant that all my time went into comic stuff.

I'm sorry to say, it was another weird work week for me. For a funny reason~

I'm going to a big Fetish Event next weekend, to see if it'd be good for me to Vendor at next year. But, because it's so last minute. I wanted to prepare my spare comics ahead of time. So I can focus on the Gala without worrying about missing next week's update.

Maxwell and the Alternomicon - pg 1 + concept art

Demon Date is over... you know what that means...

It's time for the next comic! The next comic we're delving into is the pitch/pilot chapter of one of the more ambitious project ideas I've had! Maxwell and the Alternomicon!

My take on the "magical girl genre" (though it's magical boy in this case), Maxwell finds a mysterious book hidden in his grandmother's cabin... and little does he know, some lascivious spirits may be sealed away inside of it.

Balloon Clicker - Concept

So, one of the projects I'm working on now, is a clicker game! I'm going to try to have it done in, gosh, one month now I guess.

The idea is that you click on your pump to get balloons, then you spend balloons on upgrades for your pump!

But, the twist... if I can learn how to. I'm also going to make support NPCs that have little scenes visual novel style! And if I can manage it... they'll be upgradeable too B3

And so, Demon Date comes to an end~!

This was a nice little comic in comparison to Blue Treats. At least in terms of length, working with full pages with multiple panels was definitely different from doing square pages that often were a single panel.

It ended up comparatively vanilla compared to some of my other work. But I really enjoyed making it, and I hope that peeps liked it for what it is! Definitely want to practice more stuff like this, so I can bring it over to the other ...

Happy National Indigenous Peoples' Day! (Up here in Canada!) I don't have anything special planned, but, wanted to acknowledge it.

Alone in the Wizard's Tower - Concept Draft

Alright! As I said last week, my current game project goal is a short "collect the endings" first person transformation experience game! And, here are the placeholder assets I made for the "Concept Draft."

Basically, I whipped up the absolute minimum functional look at what I want this game to be like. The eight transformation triggers, the wizard's grimoire, and the wizard himself. And a first draft/first run of how I think the transformations would go.

Each page is taking me about 2 hours and fifteen minutes. A couple pages took three hours. I dunno if this format (at least at this level of detail) is sustainable for future daily comics. I can't believe it's been nearly five months of daily updates for Blue Treats. It's really crazy. It's been so satisfying just letting this idea grow and swell into whatever it wanted to be. And I'm really proud of what it's becoming.
