What a Week, Draws

So, I got some drawing done this week. But, it's a mixed feeling.

I've run out of savings I was using to fund my visual novel and game development experiments. I've been, pretty bummed about that. Lost a couple of days to processing that and reflecting on the successes and failures. I'll get another chance, if it kills me!

Absolutely Luscious - A Modular VN Project! 0.00

Alright! Third time's the charm right? Hopefully with my new attempts at managing my work pace it should be!

Back from Trip Update!

I didn't get much work done this week, this week was focused entirely on mental and physical health. Trying to reckon with this aimless feeling I've been having. And I am hoping it's helped a bit. I have a bit more of a game plan moving forward- Doing some brainstorming on how to make a more modular visual novel experience to slot in shorter flash fiction and scenes. It's been a rough week for work peeps. A total lack of focus led me to trying to tend to my mental health and living space for most of the week. Just getting out a few doodles.

So, as I've bemoaned. I'm having difficulty picking a single idea to commit to. Second guessing myself a lot and annoying myself with my indecision. I'm tired of holding out for a "perfect idea" so, I just said heck it and dove into making a quick one off Cheryl Scene!

Draws of the Week! Apr 27th

Was a weird week, I'll admit it- Con Drop is always a little thing to overcome, that bit of depression after all the endorphins of hanging with people and doing stuff. (Sizecon Micro was a ton of fun by the way! Great panels! Lots of people to chill with! The Radio Play went awesome as usual!)

But, it did take me a few days to get any momentum back- and it's still an uphill go. So I just made a couple shit posts and some background vibe tests.

It's the week of Sizecon! So, I was in a lot of crunch mode doing my responsibilities for it. So, I've had less time to draw than I'd like unfortunately. Hopefully going to get back to more work next week!

A Cursed Valley - Brainstorm!

This week... it's funny it's one of those weeks where I'm not actually sure how productive it was. As I've said, it's been a bit of a rough time for "the process" lately. Maxwell's Short: Script Draft!

I didn't get as much done as I wanted to this week, but hopefully- I'll be able to get some rest and be back with more momentum soon.

I did finish the first draft of the script- so the story is readable! With dialogue choices and a couple jump off ending points. And I've started on putting in place holder sprites with some transitions.

The story's come out to be about 6000 words long- so it's a nice slightly longer short story \owo/

It was another slow week peeps. But I have a couple doodles to share! As well as a sprite reduction test pic.

Hopefully, it will be the last slow week. Things have been stressful lately- and when I get stressed I'm prone to worrying and obsessing. Luscious Kinky Shorts - Dev 1

And so it begins! Yes, I did try to make that "title screen" as ominous as heckin' possible.

Anyway- I've started on a Luscious Short! This is my new idea for trying to overcome my creative block- and especially my being intimidated by large projects I've been in the past month. I don't want to keep spending weeks brainstorming ideas that keep intimidating me. So, I'll try to do what I've always done when I want to create. Start small and try everything!

I'm starting to get my momentum back!

Mega Brainstorm Week!

I'll admit peeps, this week was a slower one. I experimented a bit with some transparent images for a dual stat tracking start bar- And it came out okay. Not *quite* what I wanted, but I'll figure something out.

Weekly Update! First Week of Feb!

Hello hello! This week was productive- I've finished up the Dress Up/Size Up sim! It's posted for my 5$ patrons for now, and will be available publicly next week on itch.io!

Once I finished that up, I started brainstorming for The Fertility Ritual anew. Thinking about the aesthetic I want to bring in (like using glowing belly tattoos) and trying to organize my notes into a new document.

Development - Honey's Size Up!

I spent all of this past week working on sprites for the dress up game! I'll admit, I underestimated a little just how many sprites go into a dress up game. .  . Especially one where the main character's body can be changed.
