I guess the 100% X-2 ending is where they can have that! Still, the ending to X always chokes me up....

Finally!!! Found the time to do this partner piece to my Tifa in Blue! Now the set is complete! 

While I appreciate the intricate and detailed remake dresses, the simplicity of the originals will always have a special place in my heart!

Side Character Showcase: Meena

Meena and Celestine met backstage at the Vestandrid Showhouse, a well known and prestigious theater owned and run by Whispers (Celestine's race). Meena helps work the lights. She's very confident in her skills as a 'techy', to a fault at times. 

Having grown tired of the dainty shows and pompous theater goers, Meena greatly enjoys the idea of shaking things up and is willing to help Celestine fulfill her dreams as best she can.

I'm also changing the black haired girls name to Meena (spelled differently) because I last minute changed her to be goth and I REALLY like Bram Stoker's Dracula- so, tiniest of homages lol. Celestine doesn't say her name here- but I'm updating the previous page to change that detail.

Not much else to say- show's about to start though...!

Adventure Required

I used to make up fake anime characters allllll the time. So many that a large quantity of them have no names or backstories- they were just one off's, scribbled into my sketchbook and colored in with cheap markers. Never to be thought of again...UNTIL NOW! Well, at least in revisiting the design. I still have no idea what to do with em'- but it was nice to breathe some new life into these two. I do, however, recall I was inspired by Excel Saga and Cait Sith for this one.

The Queen

I couldn't find a name anywhere on these....though I'm sure there's more drawings of her in old sketchbooks. These oldies are from around 2002. I would have been about 14. I drew her a bunch (she had a few friends too, maybe I'll draw them!), and boy, she has a STUPID outfit. So, I tried to re-conceptualize it as 'How might Lady Gaga pull it off?" Lucky for me these sketches never had color so I got to play with that until it felt harmonious. I also added a slit in her dress, hohohoh...

Sabrina

I'm so glad you guys voted the way you did...!! Sabrina is my FAVORITE Poke'mon character! I've even cosplayed several iterations of her over the years :P I simply adored her new Let's Go (Switch) outfit- it's her cutest yet! Tossed her Alakazam in the background to make it a little more interesting!

The Pack Mule

She was once a girl with a stubborn attitude until a sorceress decided this brat would be better suited as an ass.  

Now she carries her parties goods and- after much hemming and hawing- has greatly humbled herself.

Mother Nature of the Pacific Northwest

So, I've really enjoyed 'refreshers', by painting over old pieces to give them new life without having to build it up from the ground up- you know? I hope you guys are into this too- haha! It's fun for me to look around and go, 'AH! I would definitely draw this part different now!' It helps me see that I have made progress and improved over the years! 

Pretty sure the original (posted here for you to see as well) was made in 2015. It's a 'classic' original, and I needed to restock ...

The grey backdrop is the updated version I did after waking up today and feeling like it needed a little bit of a fix. Purple-y backdrop was the first go. I can't decide which is better- they both have a certain...something sassy and appealing about them. Fought with it for a while before I conceded and let them be XD

Finally, some original art! Went all out on this one (even braved an attempt at a background, ha) so I can do prints and things! Feels so nice to do something new!!! I look forward to being free to do more like this once I wrap up my commissions.

Coming to a mailbox near you!

I have loved these Tifa prints since they came in last month. Very happy with how the colors came out!

The Space Cat! ones make me especially happy- and I'm really digging them with the matte finish! They almost have a glow to them!

$30+ are getting these cute 8x8 Warm Whimsical Petals- first time trying a print in this size and I'm really into it :P

Then for some of ya, my remake ravers are going out one by one as well!
