Here's Friday's page, which is taking me way longer to finish than is going to get me asleep before 3am. The proper page (with color and all) will be up Sunday.
KSBD print preview
Here's an example page of one of the text sections of the comic that's going to print. I think there's about 9 of these. It's the 4 'lies' of the liturgy section on the site, and Meti's Sword Manual. Yes that does mean you can technically own a physical copy of Meti's Sword Manual (though its split up in the comic)

June 2016 Patron Hangout
Hey everyone!
Announcing this a little late, but the 2016 Patron hangout will be tomorrow, June 25th, from 2:00pm PST (UTC -8:00). We'll be using Google Hangouts again, but in the future I think I'll be switching to using Discord since Google Hangouts seems to only support 10 people at a time (and is sort of wonky to use).
I'll post the link to the hangout when it's live. We'll run about 2 hours I think, if the past is anything to go by. See you there!

Thought I'd throw up a quick question and answer post like I did a few months ago. If you have any outstanding questions about the comic, print (!), the creative process, the story, etc, please throw them up here and I'd love to answer them. We're getting close to the end of the second book and onto the third, which means we're just about a third of the way through the entire comic!

Old Six Inches Art
The writing I've been posting on Patreon (Six Inches) was originally a comic pitch I sent out to Dark Horse and a few other publishers about 4-5 years ago. I still haven't heard from them, but I did like the 4-5 page comic I made.
Here's the best page. The story and details of the world have changed significantly since but it's kept the same feel.

Hey everyone, thought you might enjoy a pretty simple thing on heuristics in comic art. I'm not sure if I'm using the word heuristics correctly here but it's what I've called them for a while - the mental shortcuts or patterns you use to draw things quickly and repeatedly while making comics.
Hope this is helpful and not too abstract. Let me know and I'll try and get another tutorial of some sort out ASAP!
Publication update
Hey everyone, quick but very important update here - I'm not making a definite announcement here (and not a public one yet), but I expect without further hitches Image comics will be publishing Kill Six Billion Demons (the first 90-100 pages or so of material) as a graphic novel, and it will go up for previews in September this year.
After that point you should be able to order it online from the usual (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc) or find it at a comic shop.

Bay Area Impromptu Meetup
Hi everyone,
I'm currently spending a week in the Bay Area and thought it would be cool if anyone's around to organize a pretty low-key meetup. Here's a preview of tomorrow's page! I had a lot of fun designing the devil handmaids here, and I like the balance of blacks in some of these panels, even if the coloring is turning out to be tricky.
Proto-YISUN from the old MSPA Forums
The MS Paint adventures forum (yes, that is the home of Homestuck) was the original home of Kill Six Billion Demons when I did a forum adventure version of it maybe 4ish years ago (which is pretty crazy to think about). It was mainly an exercise in brainstorming and putting work out, and it was pretty rough, but it did have some of the ideas that carried through to the current comic.

Here's another two chapters of Six Inches! It's pretty rough so far, and I'll probably be doing a lot of editing going forward, but I'm happy with this as a reading copy (sorry if there are any glaring spelling/grammar errors at the moment). I've attached both the two new chapters (X-XI) and the entire thing (I-XI). It's been a fun experiment to try writing a novel so far and I've got about ten more chapters to edit and release, so hope you're finding it at least slightly interesting.
