3-31-22 Update and week work

Alright, I'm not a big fan of immobility but milestones are a little more about my watchers than me and like... if you're gonna do the BBW work you prettymuch gotta try it eventually I feel. (this will probably get reiterated on the final commentary as well.)

This Week on Max Fullbody-

Hey, I know last week was weird... well this week might be a little weird, too? Though hopefully less weird than last week.

I'm going to a Slipknot concert tomorrow night!
It's out of town and I probably won't be back until Thursday afternoon. As such I'm not sure if it's going to mess up my schedule or not.  As for what is on the docket- Probably going to try to do my 9k watch special this week, and let's not forget requests for the the April Fan Poll will be coming up soon!...

Anyway, I was going to put off doing this a little longer, but it seemed a shame not to have Kokomi show up again while she was still on banner.

I did have to cut some corners to get this done; had a lot less time this week to work on this but it kind of works out because I need to practice getting these out more quickly anyway. These Genshin comics have taken between 6 and 10 hours in the past, and that's no joke!

Unfortunately this was pretty much all I got done today; got a little too caught up trying to do some color correction to make it fit with the background I chose and I only got kokomi herself finished.

At least she's finished though!

3-25 update

Okay! SO apologies, I'm falling back on Genshin once again since it's the only thing that I have preexisting plans for.

YES, I could have done some work on my OCs or just done some generally cute, fat girl drawings, but I wanted to do something with Kokomi before her rerun ended.

Still gotta figure out the punchline though... >_>;

It's Gonna Be a Weird Week..

Hey ya'll! Just wanted to let you know that... the title above applies.  

I have activities going on almost every single day until Saturday. Tomorrow night is a movie (Jujutsu Kaisen 0!), Thursday I'm going to be out of town... and even Friday when I normally do the lion's share of my weekly work I've been invited out to a post-Birthday lunch. Fortunately, that's just lunch, but it's still a time sink.

*AHEM* anyway... yes, this is a significantly larger Brook than she appears in-game; whether you want to chalk that up to artistic interpretation or like... she's been over-sampling her own dishes in preparation for her rematch with Xiangling, I guess is down to you and what you're into. XD

As you can see I started to throw in a swimsuit version; no promises if I can finish that; I have a section of this I want to do with Xiangling. Don't get your hopes up about it being Xiangling Plus, though; I'm doing something different with it.

Amber Plus!

Given how Mondstadt hasn't been getting a lot of new character love lately while Mihoyoverse rounds out the Inazuma cast, I figured it was up to me to just start doing Mondstadt characters as the mood strikes me.

First up is Amber! Who is quite underrated. I do wish Mihoyo would take another look and give her kit... something to make it a little less... whatever it is that makes it feel weird. I suspect the idea was that Baron Bunny was supposed to group enemies for her burst...

Amber Plus Process

Ended up having to redraw Amber from scratch; could NOT get the previous rough sketch to work for some reason. On the positive side I haven't done a character facing directly forward in a while so this was a nice change.

Anyway, in case I can't get the full comic done tonight, enjoy this preview of the Outrider herself! 

3-10-22 Weekly work

Kind of wanted to do something with my OCs this week but was not particularly inspired. Fortunately, I've also had a hankering to go ahead and do Amber Plus! Planning to keep the budget down with a lot of talking heads, and not the David Byrne kind!
