Mind Games II

Not a whole chapter, but a good half of one.

I'm thinking that I honestly like this faster-paced update schedule better, even if I end up working on smaller chunks.  It keeps me writing more.

Just curious, but does anyone have an opinion on the quest stuff?  Do people like seeing it or should I just go ahead and post it directly to the thread so as not to bug you guys about it?

In exchange, though, I'm also going to be posting the first part of the next chapter of I'm Retired up next.  I'll endeavor to always post something else in addition to quest posts just to make sure you guys don't feel you're getting shorted by only having early-access to stuff for a day before it goes public.

Sapere aude (Initial Quest Prompt Rewrite)

I liked the idea of the quest, but I didn't like the initial prompt.

So have a rewrite.  I like this one a lot better and I'm probably going to run with it tomorrow on SV.  It'll be marked as a 'mature' thread.

This isn't intended to replace Semper or anything, just exploring something new.  The quest is, as I think I said before, going to focus more on big-picture history and the potential historical changes created by the player characters.

Wow, two posts in two nights!

So... this is a potential quest I'm thinking of starting up on SV.  Running it as a mature-tagged thread, but relatively little sexy shenanigans.  Instead, it would largely focus on the organization and the changes to history made as a result of the players' actions.

Subsequent votes would decide what kind of group the players would be running.  Specifically, whether they would be a cult fighting other cults, a group of monster hunters,...

Mind Games I

So here it is!  As promised/threatened, a new waifu catalog SI featuring Shinso Hitoshi.

For once?  Going the full hero route on this one.  Or, at least, as close as I can get.

This fic is probably going to world-jump if it lasts long enough.  Unlike other fics I have going, the MHA plot is going to be solved fairly early and at that point I'd either end the story or jump to another setting.  Maybe Avatar: The Last Airbender?  Ah well, I'll give it so...

I'm Moved! And Sore!

So, my family is about 90% moved to our new home.  The rest of the stuff and cleanup of our old property will happen over the next several days.

However, now that we're moved I can get back to writing!

So I'll be dropping a new update to something either tonight or tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience, the weekend has been pretty stressful and I'm glad to have my computer back up and running.  Hope everyone is doing good as well!

Another post a day or two later than I would have liked, but I guess that's the price of your family moving.  Which is eating a lot of time, regretfully.

I'm also working on a tentative MHA project as a Shinso SI.  Thinking of calling it 'Mind Games.'  We'll see if the idea holds water.

Ah!  The long-awaited new chapter of I'm Retired!  Finally posted for review!

It's nowhere near finished, of course.  I'll be adding to it over the course of the next week or so until it's done and then let you guys have the privilege of being able to read the whole thing for a few days before I post it to QQ.

I wanted to have this out over the weekend, but we had our first family gathering since Covid, so that took precedence.
