Here's a bit of trivia, the girl with Marisol is named Gabriela and she's Mari's best friend and also they like each other. I go with the term 'casual girlfriends' cause neither knows what being 'gay' is (the island's culture is very, very heteronormative) but they're romantically interested in each other. ;v

Just a random thing, it's not plot relevant and Gabi isn't a prominent character besides hanging out with Mari a lot of the time.

When I wrote Rosa's line I thought it meant "I'm expecting you to die" but it's actually more like "I hope you die" which is way more severe but I kept it since Rosa's that short tempered anyways. But also, I wonder if it's just harsher in English while in (Cuban) Spanish it falls under 'you know I'm joking but really now' sort of phrase. The struggles of a bilingual comic.

I remember back when I started posting UD and lots of readers antagonized Rosa thanks to the one-sided perspective of Ch1 and the lack of context to her and Dan's relationship. That's more or less the way I write like how right now, some readers are antagonizing Manny primarily from his disagreements with Esther.

Basically, it's interesting to have one-sided povs exposed over time.
