About Thanksgiving

Well it's major holiday time in America gang, and while I tried to finish this week's TRW early, I apparently didn't manage my time as well as I could have. Going to see my family is a substantial road trip from where I'm staying now, so there's no way I'll be working on the comic tomorrow. 

Long story short I've decided to take tomorrow off, and TRW is running a day behind schedule this week. I hope you guys understand and have a great Thanksgiving yourselves if you're celebrating...

Fun fact here: this is the only comic page I've ever done featuring artwork by someone else. That establishing shot up top is yoinked straight from the TRW game, and was drawn by an artist I commissioned who goes by Siren Sleeps. She's done a few of backgrounds for the game now, all of which I think have turned out great.

TRW:The Game Build 4.0 (Alpha Version)

So the proper build for 4.0 needed some last minute tweaks today, and by the time I had it finally ready to upload, it wouldn't open when I tried to run the EXE file. My programmer Kal is the technical expert here, but he lives on the other side of the world in a time zone eight hours ahead of mine, so I don't have access to his brain at this time of night. 

We may not be able to get this sorted out until late tomorrow, so in the meantime, I'm releasing the test version of the game...

There's a cinematography rule I try to follow, where you don't spin the camera too far around the characters in a given scene. You keep the characters to the respective side you first established them to avoid disorienting viewers. I tried my best here, but in those last two panels I felt like there really was no other choice but to spin all the way around to get them both in frame the way I wanted. I'm trying not to let it bother me as I post this. XD

With this strip it hit me that Parker's getting a lot of appearances so far, and I can't put my finger on exactly why she seems to fit so many scenarios for me. Maybe it's because her relative innocence contrasts nicely with her more sexually assertive peers? Couldn't say for sure, but so far the ones starring her have been some of my favorites.
