One thing I've decided I'm definitely going to change in the new comic is that I'll be using a slightly smaller font for lettering. The size I use now is ok most of the time, but when I have a panel where a character has to say a lot at once it really tends to eat up the whole page. 

Anyhow I hope you guys enjoy watching Casey pour her heart out, and I'm shooting for another page this weekend!

One of many forms of feedback that surprised me when making this comic is that readers generally tend to like Royce and find him sympathetic, despite the fact that his defining action in the story is something as amoral as screwing his teenage stepdaughter. I wish I knew exactly what I did right with him so I could do it again with the other upcoming male characters I have in the works. If you guys know of any pointers I should keep in mind for future reference I'd be happy to hear them.

So way back when I made the decision to make Royce Casey's stepfather and not just Sylvia's boyfriend, I looked this up and it is indeed illegal to screw your stepdaughter in most states, even if they are over eighteen. I'd add something glib like "don't try this at home" but let's be real. This comic is packed with things you shouldn't do in real life.

Cheerleader Sketch

This month's sketch for Mark, who requested a busty pole-dancing cheerleader. I ended up liking the look of this girl so much I think you can expect to find a similar looking character on the eventual cheer squad in the comic. I used the same uniform design as the one Casey and Bria wore in their threesome pic with Mr. Fontaine. I still like the design but I'm starting to think the color scheme is a little too Christmas-y with the red and white. May have to change that up.

So naturally, even though Sylvia kicked Royce out of the house against his will, Casey is still pissed at him for "abandoning" her and they've got some issues to work out. Royce sure is a magnet for unfair and unreasonable women it seems.

This page was a close one. It was just one panel away from being the first page in the entire comic not to feature a woman. But I've come this far and I don't want to break my streak now.
