My post here on Halloween is indeed pretty terrifying if you live in fear of giant dongs flopping in the cold wind of the night. I kid but it is actually quite rare in my work that the "main" panel of a page is a full body shot of a male. I thought about having Halver struggle to walk, seeing as how this is his first human body. But I want him to look determined and purposeful here, and that idea just didn't fit the vibe. Might have him struggle in other ways later though. XD
Hope everyone's having a good Halloween!

Thanks to this commission for Klaus I have actually have something Halloween themed to post on the day itself for once! Looking at this it makes me think that Derek was lucky he happened to be in a chaste relationship when the lewd apocalypse went down, or he'd be in the horde already. XD
Hey fun fact every shadow here is somebody, not counting the hands coming in from the left. Also Liz and Lydia are kind of impossible the way I drew them so if a couple seem unfair, it's them. Can you guess them all? Meanwhile I had fun putting together my first movie poster and I hope everyone has a good Halloween!

Jane wins this year's Halloween Discord poll! You know, I've never actually seen "The Ring." Personally I think it's the hentai that's kept this ghost a pop culture staple after all this time. I originally picked Jane for this concept under the notion that she would be thicc enough to get stuck in the screen. But once I got to drawing I realized that all modern TVs are wide and I haven't seen a screen that small in a living room in over a decade. Maybe she'd get stuck crawling out of a computer monitor, maybe.
Swiped a color scheme for this one, and I think it came out well. Got it off a piece from a very talented artist named Zanz Aluiz. It got me to try some things that would normally scare me off, such as sheer white light on skin. I want to keep getting experimental with the colors in the pin ups here.
That's all for now. Hope you like the pin up and that everyone has a good Halloween!

I put a lot of thought into how the crawlers would get their physical bodies to Earth. Crawlers are technically aliens, but spaceships just never felt like the right fit. I imagine the Red World as a death metal album cover brought to life. Being chained into a spiky coffin and being fired like a bullet through cross dimensional portal felt more in line with what I was thinking. That was the plan at first, anyway. Halver's coffin was initially going to be angled in its delivery and do a lot more damage to the surrounding landscape. But during the sketching phase I had the panel look like he was just unceremoniously dropped rather than launched. And what can I say, I thought that was funnier.

Calling back to how Switch parted ways with Casey at the end of the first comic here. Though Halver isn't quite so inclined to kiss his host goodbye. And as Halver alludes, it's not quite a real goodbye either. He's going to have to fight Lydia off with a stick if he shows up in front of her in a human body.
Other than that I think this page speaks for itself pretty well and I don't have much else to add in this space. I hope everyone's having a good week, and thanks as always for your support around here!

Continuing the key party from last time, this week introduces the hostess herself, Jane's mom, Ruby Deighan! I'm going to leave it up reader interpretation whether or not she was handed that drink or somehow had it all along without spilling it everywhere. XD
Like Ophelia, Ruby deviates from my trend of having the moms look like exaggerated versions of their daughters. Ruby's similarity to Jane ended up more symbolic than physical. If Jane is a trickster then Ruby would have a superficial look to her, for example. With injected lips, fake boobs, and a hair color suspiciously different from Jane's.
As the story goes, Ruby had been increasingly losing patience with Sylvia during the party. The Samu had still yet to appear. It was bad enough that Sylvia had failed to fulfill the condition that had allowed her entrance to this party, but she'd also had the nerve to show up with two dates at a party she was barely welcome at herself!
But just when Sylvia was about to get a martini splashed in her face, The Samu finally arrived. True to her family's nature, Ruby immediately rigged the game so that she was paired with this beautiful hulk of a man. Who was he? How had she never seen him in their small town? What mysteries awaited behind those enchanting dark eyes of his? She couldn't wait to unravel him in every way!
Hope you like how these two turned out. If you have suggestions for what parents and teachers you'd like to see paired together next, new or old, I'm open to them!

This commission for Kaiser Karlo features Chloe getting it on with Kristina's dad, Frank! This one is canonical and takes place shortly after the events of the visual novel.
The scenario involves Chloe following her teacher, Miss Nakano, to what she suspected was a mid-day booty call. Chloe was right. She got off hard watching Frank bang her teacher from her vantage point in a tree outside the window. Chloe was unable to follow Miss Nakano back to class when it was over, however, as she found herself unable to get safely down from the tree the way she'd come up it. Chloe found herself having to sheepishly call out for help, and Frank had to come out and get her down. She offered him a little reward for her rescue, and ended up having a very rewarding afternoon herself!
Hope you guys like this one. I have fun pairing up characters you wouldn't normally see together in the comic!

I'm glad that the fifth panel called for a wide shot to show Lydia spying, because from any other angle I have no idea how I would have presented women this busty in a three-way hug. No oxygen is escaping the middle of that embrace.
I thought it fitting that Switch wouldn't be able to help but presume some intimacy with Bria, despite having just "met" her for the first time physically. Switch always has liked Bria, and would jump at the chance to help her with any problems she might have.
That's all for now. If you were in Florida this week I hope you were as lucky as I was. I also hope you like the page and are looking forward to finding out what happens next for Lydia and Halver next week!

Hey gang just a quick update here. As you may have heard, Florida is expected to experience ever more fury from the gods we've purposely angered in the form of yet another hurricane this week. I'm in Orlando and that's mostly proven to be a relatively safe location geographically. You don't build Disney World in a place that gets demolished every storm season after all. But even so I'm not ruling out the notion that the upcoming calamity might interfere with my work schedule. So just putting out there now, don't be surprised if TRW runs a day or two late because the power is out or there is a carp swimming around my ankles and I find it too distracting.
Also while I'm making declarations I want to let you guys know that I'm taking a trip out of state to visit my brother next month. I'll be out of town from the 5th to the 20th or so. And while I can probably double down and get a page done early before I go to cover one week of the trip, no way I'm swinging two. So I'll be taking my annual winter vacation week on the second week of November. I'll post a reminder before then though, this won't be the last you hear of it from me.
And that covers it for now. To any fellow Floridians especially I hope you're all doing what it takes to stay safe out there this week.

Casey is definitely not intended to be the sensitive one when it comes to her and Bria's relationship. But I imagine Casey's heart being in the right place as she's blurting out Bria's secrets here. Casey trusts Switch so completely that it sort of doesn't occur to her that she's blabbing to someone Bria sees as a stranger.
I wondered if Bria might be coming off a little uncharacteristically standoffish meeting Switch. Casey and Bria are in the most open relationship in the comic. But upon hearing the specifics of the display Casey put on in front of everyone, to me it made sense that Bria would be unnerved that Casey apparently is THAT close with someone she's never even heard of.
To me this page also reminds me once again what a nightmare it would be to have breasts like this in real life. They would get in the way of whatever you're trying to do constantly.
This is a bit of a side note here, but this is the first page of TRW drawn entirely in Clip Studio Paint. In fact, this is the first comic page I've ever made with anything but some form of Photoshop. After over a decade, I have finally made the change over to new paint software.
In some ways it was an easy call to make. Adobe has consistently proven to be a cartoonishly evil corporation that offers the most expensive option on the market with its monthly subscription. In other ways there was a reason I put this off for years. The ins and outs of Photoshop, the tricks, hotkeys and workarounds are so burned into my muscle memory that learning new software is like trying to eat pizza with chopsticks. This page took twice as long to make as usual largely in part to my having to fire up Youtube tutorial or go forum diving every time something didn't work the way I wanted it to.
But in the end, I did it. I've learned a lot about Clip Studio this week and I think the next page will go faster. Rant over. I hope you like the page!

I've been hearing a fair amount of interest in the parents and teachers from readers lately, so I'm going to do a series of pin ups focusing on them for awhile!
The premise revolves around Jane's mom, Ruby, throwing her annual key party, where couples in her social circle come to swap partners for a night. Think of it like a more toned down, discrete version of one of Jane's sex parties. These people are pushing forty. They aren't banging in front of an audience, they're going to private guest rooms and they will struggle to stay awake afterwards.
Miles and Sylvia had actually been banned for life from Ruby's parties for trashing/cumming all over Ruby's bedroom at a previous event. But they were reinstated after Sylvia's promise to deliver to the party a mysterious local legend that had captured Ruby's interest: someone the teens had nicknamed "The Samu." As of the first round of key swapping, The Samu had yet to appear. Ruby was already getting annoyed, but Miles managed to luck out early and draw Bria's mother, Ophelia.
Considering how much Ophelia looks like Bria you maybe wouldn't guess that the idea for her took me years to settle on, but it did. Many of the moms in TRW so far have been designed as exaggerated versions of their daughters but I decided to end that tradition with Ophelia. She's the first milf to be shorter and less busty than their younger counterpart. And rather than make her an exaggeration of Bria, I decided to instead design her around what Bria might look like if I drew her more realistically. (For example I'm pretty sure Bria's hair the way I draw it is only possible in anime.) Personality wise I imagine Ophelia being kind of a hippie. A very progressive, artistic free spirit who would have a job like carving novelty bookends out of wood and selling them online.
In other words her husband is the breadwinner. He's at the party too if you'd like to see my design for him. Let me know what dads and what milfs you'd like to see paired up next if you have any suggestions!

I'm pleased to announce a new ongoing reward for all supporters around here! :D
Miss Castlewood is a dating sim Kal and I have been working on for awhile now starring the cast of This Romantic World. The story this time revolves around the girls competing in a swimsuit contest for a big cash prize and you play as the judge who will cast the deciding vote. On to the hypothetical questions I imagine you might be asking!
-Another visual novel? How is it different than the last one?
Miss CastleWood is less of a story-driven adventure and more of a small scale interactive companion piece to the comic. It's about getting to know the girls and finding out more about them than I could ever fit in the comic or even a character bio.
-Is it canon?
Nope! Not this time. I want every girl in the cast to be eligible for seduction here regardless of what they've got going on in the story. Which means that characters with boyfriends like Parker, Elianna, and Miss Holt will all be conveniently single and Bria has already had her baby. The characters will all still act true to their canonical selves but other than that, anything goes.
-Aren't you guys already working on a game?
About that! This Clandestine World is still in development. But the work on it is coming along very slowly and just isn't conducive to quarterly release builds like we did in the past with the TRW visual novel. I mean, it took us a year to make a ten minute demo. We haven't given up on it and are still making steady progress, but this could take a very long time and we want something we can offer more consistent updates for. Time may prove that an animated point and click adventure is too ambitious a project for a team of two people who both have tons of other obligations, but until then the work continues.
-The answer to a game taking a long time to make isn't to start a second game, jackass. It's actually more work, you see. If you hadn't ruined your brain with porn and video games it would be obvious you witless imbecile-
Whoa! Take it easy over there. This will be extra work, yes, but not as much as you might think. After working on the TRW game for five years, Kal and I are very efficient in that particular medium. The plan as of this writing is to add one new girl every quarter of the year. Each girl gets two unique illustrations, those being a sex scene and an ending if they win the contest. And I'm doing the endings in a more cartoony style that makes them faster to create. Two drawings and a script for one girl every few months isn't going to move the needle all that much on my current workload.
And I think that covers the big stuff! The first build featuring both Casey and Bria will be launching in October on the Game Dev tier and then to all other tiers a week later. It's been killing me to keep this all under wraps so I hope you're half as enthused as I am for the upcoming release.

With as thrilled as Casey is to see Switch here, it might be easy to forget that in the original comic they didn't always get along. So this page is a little reminder of what their dynamic was actually like along with some exposition as to how Switch is piloting her body.
I don't have a ton else to add on this one, I feel like this page says everything I want it to well enough. It's been several years since I last had the chance to draw Switch in her OG costume and that was fun for me. Hope you like this one!

This commission for Licorice Lain is a book cover for Dana Sequence Volume One! Featured here is Shiloh Draper, a tattoo artist working at a place called Kittie Tats. With this series Licorice has put together a fun cast of characters that imply a sense of community in the story and world that I think TRW readers will appreciate. If you're interested you can read chapter one for free right here.

Scene complete! Meanwhile it looks like I get to continue my unsettling pattern of walking back something I said the previous week. I mentioned that Chloe would have zero upper body strength but after some contemplation and reader feedback I realized that wouldn't be the case. All that tree climbing would probably leave her with muscles carved out of wood lol. I guess in my head I figured she'd be weak because she's inherently lazy. But when it comes to peeping she would indeed be likely to apply herself in whatever way was needed so I'll admit she'd probably be pretty strong indeed by now.
In any case I hope you liked the scene. Next week we're checking back in on the crawlers and those attached to them!

Most of this comic was about players not taking the game seriously enough. But I think many DnD fans probably have a story about a game master who had the opposite problem and took the game too seriously.
It's an easy mistake to make, I'm sure. I imagine a lot of GMs fall into the trap of writing what ends up being more of a movie script than an interactive adventure. You get swept up in how cool it would be if this happened then that happened. But then the game starts and you're herding cats over here trying to make sure the story plays out "correctly." It sounds like a recipe for high blood pressure.
In any case, story complete! This ended up being about, I don't know, five times longer than I thought it would be when I started. But I had fun making it and I hope you had fun reading it. Next I think I might go back to Monday pin ups for awhile!

I feel like I need to clarify little of what I said about Elianna being a smug girlfriend last week. I didn't mean to imply she would never have a shy or flustered moment in their relationship. There will likely be lots of those. I meant more like that she was going to stay true to her bossy/overachieving personality despite how thrilled she is to be with Derek.
As for Chloe and Millie, one thing I really had a hard time conveying was how much Chloe would be struggling in panel seven. She has zero upper body strength and I feel like the difficulty she would have lugging around a thicc girl like Millie isn't really properly conveyed until the last panel, but let me know what you think.
Also PS: I forgot to touch on this last week but the standees have been a huge success! Easily our best selling product since we first started the merch store years ago. We've already blown through most of our stock for wave one and we've got wave two with new girls in the works. Also on my end the takeaway is that Bria and Morgan need more scenes because they proved especially popular. XD

Millie hasn't slept in days, remember? XD
I gave a lot of thought about how Elianna would act when she was finally in a relationship. Since she's such a prude the impulse was to make her shy and prone to blushing. But that doesn't really fit with her personality the way I see her in my head.
Elianna's character flaws have been front and center in her story so far: she can't relate well to her peers, she forces her values on others, and is unpopular because of it. What hasn't been focused on as much is that she's generally good at everything else she sets out to do. It tracks to me that she'd be a cocky, confident girlfriend even if she is sexually inexperienced.
That's all I've got for now. Hope you all like the page and that you're amused by the sitcom-like scenario that Chloe finds herself in here.

In DnD, as in life, you can never predict how people are going to act. The last pages of this story are an homage to every game master who had their well-laid plans dashed because the players behaved unexpectedly. It could be that your players take everything deadly serious until your story needs them to and then they inexplicably start dicking around or, as in this case, a bunch of selfish screwups suddenly become a well-oiled combat machine only in the precise moment that doing so would fuck up your plans.
I only ran a couple of small campaigns myself with very small parties in my time, so I don't really have any stories of my own grand schemes being foiled to share. But it did happen occasionally when I was a player. Our exasperated game master would just have to throw up his hands and say something like "Look, you just fucking can't go in there, okay!?"
If you've got any stories of your own I'd love to hear them. Meanwhile this TRW adventure is nearly complete!

Made it! Thank you all for bearing with me!
Elianna was a bit quick to refer to Derek as her "boyfriend" a few pages ago, considering the two of them had been an item for less than twelve hours at that point. And I've chosen to double down on that by having her already calling him pet names because it just feels like something she would do. She was really bummed about being single so she's over the moon right now. You can bet she'd have posted a dozen pictures of the two of them together on every app she has by halfway through their first day as a couple.
Also Millie and Chloe might have a situation on the way here! :O

Real quick before getting into the commission: thank you for the well wishes on my previous post. I think my fever finally broke a few hours ago and that's made a world of difference for me. I'm hoping I wake up at reasonable operating capacity in the morning.
Moving on, this commission for SlimReapin features Friday Calero from our upcoming game, This Clandestine World! Specifically, this is a fully-painted version of her in-game character model. I'll explain. In the game she's supposed to walk, talk, and have sex, all hand animated by me and whoever I can pay to help me when I get stuck. Naturally her model in the game is much simpler than this by necessity. There's no way I could animate this kind of shading at 8-12 frames per second. So this was a rare, fun chance for me to present Friday in full detail.
Speaking of which, expect a general update on TCW and how things are going with the project soon. In the meantime I hope you like the pin up!

2024 has been, by far, the most calamitous year for me personally since I started this business nearly ten years ago. It feels like I haven't been able to go two months without having to make a post like this. I seem to have caught covid for a second time. I say "seem" because I haven't been tested but I have all the same weird ass symptoms that I had the first time around. Regardless, whatever I've got, it's proven pretty debilitating.
Right now as I type this, I'm finally feeling better and able to work. But there's no way I'd be able to finish a decent page in 24 hours with what small progress I made before I got sick. I want to take the time I need to make the page as good as it can be, so I hope you guys don't mind giving me some extra time this week. I do have a cool commission that I finished before I got the plague that I will post tomorrow!

One thing I like about Millie and Chloe together visually is what contrasting body types they have, which is relatively rare in the lesbian couplings I draw. Feels that way, anyway. For example Casey/Bria and Sylvia/Raina are both couples with more or less identical bodies. Even Trish and Bria are the same height. The only real contrasting pair that comes to mind offhand that got a full scene was Casey and Abbey.
As for the page itself, one thing I really hoped to convey is that Millie has gone from reluctant to 100% into it in one kiss here. Chloe showing some genuine feelings really pushed her buttons in the right way. XD

It seems like about half the time when I attempt to cut ahead for comedic effect, people just think they missed a page. Did it happen for you this time?
In Millie's defense, being the healer is a famously thankless role that can be a tough sell to many. When engaging in a vicarious fantasy adventure it's not unreasonable for one to want to be a flashy sword-swinging ass-kicker, not a support character meant to prop up others. Growing up, I don't think I ever played in a group that had a dedicated healer. We were all playing just a bunch of legally distinct Aragorn and Legolas ripoffs competing to be the "main" character. Every damn chest we found had to have healing potions in it or we were all dead meat after a battle or two.
Meanwhile here comes Necromancer Nadine! It may have come up in the visual novel that Kal (the current game master in this comic, as opposed to my real-world coworker) went to Castlewood High and she scared the hell out of him back in the day. I loosely based her look off of Odette from a game called Odin Sphere. It's not easy to make a hot zombie from a design standpoint, so whenever I see it pulled off well it stands out to me.
We're coming up on the end of the story now. Anything in particular you'd like to see next? Maybe I'll switch back over to pin ups for a couple of months? I'd love the input if you have it.

Allow me to explain this random selection of TRW ladies posing in swimsuits. Kal and I have wanted to offer character standees in the merch store for ages, but could never find anywhere that could make them for us at a reasonable price. Not until recently, that is. We found a distributor and got the idea for me to rework the models from the visual novel into something we could put into production.
We're currently waiting to see how the first batch turns out. If all goes well, Casey, Bria, Abbey, and Morgan will be available soon. And if they go over well then it's Liz, Miss Holt, Raina, and Millie after that. And so help me if I can I'll just keep going until we have the whole cast able to be lined up next to each other on a shelf.
In the meantime I just wanted to share this pic because I like how they all look together. Expect to see these swimsuits pop up again in the upcoming beach scene in the comic. Hope you guys like them and I'll keep you posted on the standees!

One thing I've always tried to keep consistent about Chloe is that while she aspires to be a manipulative type like Jane, her inability to hide her true emotions is always her undoing in that regard. I feel this comes across pretty well in the idea that her entire tsundere arc with Millie lasted for maybe ten minutes within the story.
I realized just as I was about to post this that I've used that same "boob grab from behind" pose a few times in close proximity as of late. With Mary and Abbey doing it just a few pages ago and Casey and Royce just a few pages before that. I do like it as a pose but I'll try to mix things up for awhile before I come back to it again. XD
That's all I've got for now. Hope you guys are looking forward to seeing what these two get up to on the next page!

I got a comment on Twitter on the last page from someone who said they were falling behind on the lore. I try to generally make TRW welcoming to to new readers on a page by page basis. But these last few pages admittedly lean pretty hard on prior knowledge of my older work. If you've never played the visual novel or read my previous comic, you haven't really been given any indication as to why Casey was bursting into tears and throwing herself at Vincent's personal demon in the last couple of pages here.
Case in point, panels three and four here are referring to the events of the visual novel. I thought about doing one of those little editorial dialogue boxes you see in superhero comics on this page. You know, the ones that pop up whenever Spiderman references something that you had to read Daredevil to know what the fuck he's talking about, and the writer devotes precious page space to let you know that this isn't obtuse writing, no no, the problem is you. Go buy more comics, sucker!
In the end I decided that would have only been funny to me. But what I am going to do is to be sure to explain and recap the visual novel stuff well enough as I go so that the story in the comic still makes sense on its own. Part of me does like the idea of readers finding things out along with Millie as she continues to dig.

I'm not familiar with the official mechanics of how succubi work in actual DnD. Come to think of it, I'm hazy on what succubi are actually about in mythology in general. In the media I consume they're often just presented as highly sexual women with demonic features. They like to fuck, sure, but the catch or consequence for the mortal involved in said fucking isn't something specific that's ever stuck out to me. If you have any lore to share, please let me know in the comments.
In TRW DnD, succubi suck your soul out through your dick. Also love makes the soul taste extra good. Warren really should have flipped through the monster manual at some point.
