The (long awaited?) aftermath to a 4 panel comic from a while back!
There's not much in terms of point of interest, other than some early drafts of the interaction. Most of it stayed the same, other than the giant as fox's head - slightly redrawn, enlarged and tilted for the proportions!
The colouring technique is inspired by some of the late Toriyama's earlier Dragon Ball concept arts which were flat but also very vibrant.

Here's a dive into attempting to make a Sinnoh Pokémon look... worse?
If there are 2 words I can use to describe the original gen 1 monster sprites, it's awkwardly charismatic.
Gen 1 pixel art were designed before the artworks were cemented, at least during Red and Green's development. So that probably means I have to pixel it without any existing refs and on the spot...

Yes, I very much did play Tunic! I loved it so much, I bought it twice...
This sketch was originally done mid flight, a very rare occurrence since the turbulence wasn't as rocky. The problem was figuring out how to send the sketch lines outside of the iPad now that Skype is gone (and I was not a fan of having cloud storage/onedrive reminding me to make an account 😅).
