Status Report - Brave and the Bold - Sunnydale

Still working on the new chapter, but now John T Kelly, aka Mister Clark, is adlibbing, I'm finding out that John and Ding are in Sunnydale on a mission for President Jack Ryan, because the President has been hearing things that he does like, not just the demonic, but the military being involved in Sunnydale.   I really wasn't planning on bringing Jack Ryan and the rest of the background into the story, but the characters will do what they want!

Bottom line, I'm still working ...

On the Drive, I've added a folder Time Corps Harem

In the folder are the two chapters (so far) of Kendra's Night of New Experiences along with the Collected Story file

Also included Chapter One of Welcoming Faith, and as usual the characters started adlibbing from the beginning.

Next Chapter Delayed by Moving

I'm at close to 4,500 words, and I'm shooting for 7,500 words on Welcoming Faith, but I just got called by the front desk that I had to move by tomorrow night into a new temporary room, which still makes no sense to me, but what can you do?

Good Morning - Currently Working On

The name of the story is 'Welcoming Faith' and, as I think I posted yesterday, it's a sequel of sorts to Kendra's Night of New Experiences, although it's taking place about 3 months in the future.

I'm writing the story using Scrivener, I got the program several years ago at 1/2 price during NaNoWriMo, and I'm finally finding out how to use it.  It's an excellent program for writers, but not very user friendly to start with.  I've got this story (hopefully a one-shot, but when ...

It's actually a sequel to Kendra's Night of New Experiences.  I had the start of the story for a while, but couldn't find a story to go with it,  Until I realized that the story fit neatly in with the earlier story.  You should see what I mean when I post it, hopefully tomorrow.

OT: God Dammit! RIP Jimmy Buffett

Just found out he died at 76 years old.

He's another one that was such a huge part of my adult life, and I was always intending to see him in concert one more time, but I guess I waited too long.

For the longest time A Pirate Looks at 40 was one of my favorite songs, and if there was a kareoke machine in the area, you can bet your ass I was up there singing (badly!) that one, or Come Monday

The Stag and the Swan, I'm currently almost 3,000 words into Chapter  Three.  Not sure if I will be able to finish tonight or will have to wait until Sunday.  I'm taking Saturday off because I'm running an on-line Dungeons and Dragons campaign, and that takes a lot of focus to avoid having one of the characters get nearly run over by a corporeal Patronus!  *GRIN*

Ya Know...

I've spent more time researching the city of Oxnard, in California, for It Started In Oxnard, that I could probably go there and be able to find my way around *GRIN*    Granted, there is no Susie's there, the club is a figment of my imagination, but the different shops and restaurants most of them actually exist!  And for this chapter I had to find out if they have a firing range, and what grocery stores are in town.  Geez!

A Story that wasn't as dead as I thought

I thought that Summer of Corruption, Years of Deceit was off Pining for the Fjords, but I woke up this morning with the urge to take a look at the characters and see what they are up to, and I'm around 500 words into a new chapter.   It'll be a couple of days, but hopefully you'll have something new and different to enjoy soon.

Yes, I'm alive and writing!

It took me a while to get a new keyboard/mouse combo that worked for me, plus a bunch of other things going on in Real Life, but I am back at the keyboard, and about halfway through chapter 17 of Hannah Abbott - Shooting to have the chapter posted late tonight or tomorrow sometime.
