Updates to my Patreon page!

Hey guys, sorry that I haven't been that active on my Patreon page... It's not easy to keep everything shiny all the time but I try my best! Hey lovely patrons! Last year was an amazing year for PreMiD! Lots of updates, presence creators etc there’s a lot but that’s not what this is about... I just want to tell you that I am taking a small break of PreMiD to think of new ideas etc. I love working on PreMiD but sometimes a small break is needed. What happened last week you ask?

Simple almost nothing... Idk I didn't really feel like coding anything. My brain just hurt all the time. I needed a small break from coding. The only real thing I did was merging the beta website to the stable branch. But don't worry! I am kinda back now. Already planned some things that I'll start really soon including Presence Settings, Beta soon! :3

Still late as always... Rn I am in a somewhat weird mood... I come back after school lay down in bed and sleep 7+ hours straight after that its almost midnight so yeah :l

Anyways I at least did something... First of all we stepped away from CloudFlare as the only thing we needed was DDOS protection but everything else just annoyed a lot. Sorry for posting this so late... Anyways, last week I have gone bug hunting until now and fixed more bugs in the PreMiD Extension, improved a lot of things inside it, made it about 1,5 times faster etc. Will publish the new version of the Extension later today or so, not sure yet... Nothing really happened in that time. I've also bought a new 32 inch 4K screen to replace one of my 22 inch ones to have a lot more screen space to code on. Funded by you guys, thank you so much!

Last week I have been continuing automation of PreMiD processes. I am still in the work of automating the release building and releasing. It already creates installers for Windows (x64 & x32) and MacOS (x64). Now I only have to finish it up to automatically upload it to a GitHub release, create update installers (They are different than normal ones) and then I can finally start to push out some updates again. This week I’ve been working hard on organizing things on our server, continued making everything automated as much as possible and will continue it this week. I also continued to search for bugs in the extension and found some and fixed them. So PreMiD will be more stable in the future. I’ll soon be working on more PreMiD content updates. 😉

Last week I have been working hard, I recoded the API which is about 2 - 3 times faster now, reworked how the presences get updated (every push). I also worked hard to move our current Vue website over to Nuxt to improve loading times and add SEO, you can see the current progress on the attached url. This week was one of my not so productive weeks as I have been going through lots of problems with my development workflow. I couldn't really develop as GitHub seems to have had some issues with download speeds, mine were capped at 20kbit/s which is certainly not enough to do anything... I am currently working on some improvements on the app, extension and server. So be prepared for some new stuff. It won't be a lot but its something i guess....

This week i have mainly been working on improving some of the back structure like Server management, Domain transfer, small bug fixing and organising some things for future updates.

The next week i want to improve some presence dev related things like automatic checking if their Syntax is right etc.

Watch Parties

Just a quick question about Watch Parties which will be coming soon. I gathered up some ideas i was having for them, maybe you have some too?

Ideas:

• Patrons have x Watch Parties that never expire (amount specified by their rank)
• Patrons can change the name, wallpaper... of their Watch Parties 
• Patrons can queue videos which will play even if they aren't in their Watch Party
• Normal users can create 1 ...
