7/24 Status Update

Pretty slow week, so I don't have very much exciting news. I had hoped to get the first .72 art previews this week, but that art is just barely not quite done. But it should be some good stuff, including some more complex animations this time around.

7/17 Status Update

Halfway through July, were do things stand here at Apollo Seven Games? Naked Ambition .71 was released last week and work has begun on .72. Futa Oasis is on a slow burn and I'll give out the demo to $5 patrons soon, probably next week. Dream of the Sea is still 75% done and on the back burner right now, I plan on giving out a test build sometime soon.

7/9 Status Update

So you may have noticed that Naked Ambition .71 isn't out. It's REALLY close, the new few days for sure. That's four weeks instead of two weeks like I said, but oh well. I've been developing this game for over a year and I still underestimate how much time the writing will take every update. I mean, you just sit at a keyboard and press some keys, and boom, text. So why does it take so long?

For this one the issue was mostly I had less time to devote to working on these games than normal...

7/2 Status Update

Naked Ambition .71 is almost done. It might be ready by Sunday, it might be ready mid next week. Because this isn't a full version uptick (i.e. .6 to .7), I don't think releasing it on the weekend or not is a huge deal. Better to just get it out when it's done.

6/25 Status Update

Naked Ambition .71 isn't coming out this weekend. A lot of work on it has been done, but it's at least a week away from being finished.

At this point, the amount of projects I'm juggling is a bit too much right now. I probably could have gotten it done, but I also had that Futa Oasis demo to finish. 6/19 Status Update

So far I've been able to keep pace with that schedule I posted in a previous update. I released the Futa Oasis demo to $10 patrons today, and Naked Ambition .71 is on its way. Will I be able to get it done by next week? I think it's possible but we'll see.

The demo covers the first 10 days of the game or up to getting to the first affection level with a girl, whichever come first. It's pretty much fully fleshed out for that stage of the game with only a few missing features. What's next...

6/11 Status Update

Naked Ambition .7 is coming out Sunday. With that out of the way, what exactly is in it?

• Seven week timeline expansion
• New meetings with all the council members (this took about 80% of the time)
• New winter events (only around six)

6/4 Status Update

Naked Ambition .7 is almost done, with next weekend as my target release date at this point. After that, .71 should come out pretty fast, with Cecily getting the first new events. The process for that art has already started, so .71 should come out this month in addition to .7. 

The demo for Futa Oasis is pretty much done, I've just been focused on finishing .7 for now. So the first previews for that will be out pretty soon after .7.

To be honest, this build doesn't really need to exist. It has more content than the last one, all the council member visits are done, but the last one was pretty similar. But I really wanted to put out one last build before the end of the month. So here you go.

The full version of .7 should be done in a week-ish. hopefully.

5/28 Status Update

This week was all about finishing things up. Almost all of the scenes for Naked Ambition .7 are done, with some dancer and random event scenes to finalize. But there's still a lot of small polish and player-princess conversations to do. So I think I'm going to put out one last test build before the end of the month. Hopefully the rest of it can be done in a week or so and the release will be pretty soon, with remainder of the .7 release cycle content to come in the following weeks.

5/21 Status Update

This week I finished almost all of the council member scenes. That means I just have the random events to finish up, then the Princess-PC conversations, and then .7 is ready to go. While it's possible I'll get that done before the end of the month, I think early June is more likely.

The thing I definitely am delivering this month is a preview build of the mermaid game, which I'm now calling Dream of the Sea.  So that'll be a fun bonus. That takes me back to September last year when...

5/14 Status Update

What's been going on in Apollo Seven Games land? Naked Ambition .7 is getting a lot closer, we're finally into the finishing scenes stage, although a lot are still halfway written and there's still some stubs. I plan on putting out the second test build tomorrow.

5/7 Status Update

First off, a posted a poll yesterday for which trainer will be getting new events in .7. If you haven't voted and have some preference, go and do so.

It was a pretty productive week here at Apollo Seven Games. I did a good amount of writing on Naked Ambition .7, got more art in for both Naked Ambition and the Futa Game, and over the weekend banged out about 60% of that Mermaid Game.

5/1 Status Update

Sorry about this being a day late. I don't really have an excuse beyond it's a deadline I made up anyway and it being on the first of the month looks cool.

The big thing that happened this week is that TF Game Site is holding a new contest. Those are always fun to join which is where Submansion came from if you played that game. The new theme is about fairy tales and such. Well the first thing I did when I heard that was make a render of a mermaid.

Happy One Year Anniversary Naked Ambition!

The anniversary was actually a few weeks ago but I forgot. But it's been about one year since the first release of Naked Ambition. Since then there's been 4 major versioned updates, a lot of minor ones and a plenty of content for our Princess to muddle through. Here's to another year! Hopefully by the second anniversary the game will be done.

4/23 Status Update

Another week come and gone. So what happened at Apollo Seven Games? It was a pretty quiet one to be honest. Naked Ambition .7 isn't in a very flashy part of development, it's mostly just writing and finishing up art at this point. There will be a test build next week and probably another one before the full release. Scenes are starting to get more fleshed out, although the random events in particular are still pretty bare.

.7 is going pretty well. It's all writing at this point which takes some time. The most annoying thing about this update is because there's three different scenes for each council meetings plus all the random events, I have to write about 30 versions of the PC-Princess conversation. And while those don't take very long, there's still 30+ to get through in addition to the scenes. But pretty much everything besides writing and some art are in place so I'm on pace to finish the update not too lo...

4/9 Status Update

Yesterday, I put out the first $10 preview build or Naked Ambition .7. I plan on releasing another this week, and then the test build the week after that. At this point I'm mostly just writing, but there's a lot to write for this update.

Like with the .5 update, the initial .7 release won't contain new trainer events. It's going to take long enough to write the three separate scenes needed for each council member and all the winter events and I don't want to make people wait to long for...
