SDA36N Turtle Jazz and The Musician

David Copperfield's Rudder Cut Cay has some pretty cool stuff to check out. Caves, shallows full of life, with the chillest turtles and The Musician. David Copperfield commissioned this grand piano with an attentive mermaid, to drop in an undisclosed location for his guests to enjoy. The location has long since been disclosed and this beautiful structure is well worth a visit. Take a deep breath!

SDA93P VANISH in the Bahamas, Silent 60 Solar Superyacht Tour

When you see this distinctive yacht cruise through the harbour it catches your eye. It's sleek and beautiful, even without a mast. We definitely want a closer look, and we are thrilled that the owners said 'YES'. We had no idea we'd become fast friends

Melissa and Pete were amazing hosts, making us feel at home on their beautiful yacht

SDA90N ARG! Alcohol Research Group

In this episode of Sailing Dark Angel we indulge in an ARG!, Alcohol Research Group party, with a focus on dark, spiced and amber rum. We happily donate a bottle of Kraken to the cause.

Speaking of Rum, Chesapeake Lady introduced us to Shipwreck, which we love! We also love Fran and Vickey, even if their boat is a motor yacht. So we take them and their guests sailing out on the Sound.

Then we set sail up the coast! We don't want to miss 5F weekend at Farmers Cay!

SDA87N Hangin with Turtles while Dave fixes stuff

We set sail from Farmers Cay to try to make it to Georgetown. We fail miserably and wait out the weather to try again. A few days later we sail to Rudder Cut Cay where Dave fixes a broken cabinet door and I hang with my Rudder Cut sea turtle friends.
We grab what we think is the next good weather window and end up sailing briskly along the edge of squalls all the way to Georgetown. It's only mildly terrifying

SDA86N not-Glamorous Yacht Life

We show the not so glamorous side of boat life, cleaning and taking out the trash. We also explore both sides of tranquil White Point on land and sea and discover how small moves greatly improve our anchorage to avoid uncomfortable chop.

Finally we celebrate New Years at a very serene and practically deserted Little Farmers Cay.
