Work Process "Fair Game" and "Phantastic"

Righto, so the first of the two promissed uploads. This might almost warrant two separate uploads by itself, but that feels kinda weird and cash grab-y :b

What's been going on?

Alright, so apologies for not having uploaded anything yet this month, but I genuinely don't have anything actually new to show, besides this.

Earlier this month I started work on my new desk, which was planned, ordered and built all by myself, with the exception of some help during the final stages of assembly and the raising mechanism (which is an IKEA BEKANT table base with a custom desk surface).

I think I might have mentioned the want to have this a couple' times, either here...

I channeled all of my Igor Sid for this one, though looking at the final result, I went a little overboard with some of the reflectiveness. I blame the wacom for some color balance issues, though it may be the other way around (my screen being too colorful).

Anyway, some day I will hopefully get to convert myself some sisters of slaughter. Until then, drawing them will have to suffice =w=

Divided HD

Every once in a while, on avergae once a year, I get the urge to draw something visceral. I'm not entirely sure where it stems from, but given that there's people with nothing but in their galleries, I feel I'm in good company one way or another X3

For once, something quite substantially larger than the public version. I was talking with Ro at EuroFurence and I mentioned I usually didn't work in resolutions suitable for printing and she asked me why on earth I would do that in a rather berating tone - and then I asked myself why I didn't and decided to try doing these greyscale things in larger resolution.

Barenaked Rodents

So here's a thing that's happening likely throughout this month.

SpotTea approached me about doing some pin-ups of the primary characters of her ongoing sequential story "Rag Tag" in a more simplified style and seeing as I love a good challenge, I was more than happy to oblige.

Said characters then are, in order: Bohea (grasshopper mouse), Darjeeling (springhare), Peppermint (red squirrel) and Rooibos (springhare). More details on all of them to be found in Tea's FA gallery :3

Avid Explorer - Native Resolution

So here's a fun one I got to do over the course of last month which got finished the other day and I'm actually, for once, far happier with the results of my line work X3

Besides the character, the commissioner wasn't entirely sure about what it was they wanted specifically when we started out, but they provided me with enough options for us to find something suitable soon enough.

Large Scale Images - July

Eyyy~ finally something to talk about for this month :b

So the sunset image I'd already mentioned a few things about on the public upload, like the fact it was meant to become a mouse pad. I have no idea whether it's actually been printed by now, but assuming it has, I'm hoping it turned out good.

Drawing on my experience from back in the print store days, I created two versions with varying brightness levels, because prints have a tendency to turn out darker than you expect them ...

Even More Quokka

Felt madly uninspired today because Quokka girl wouldn't leave me alone, so after having doodled some concepts for a commission and sending those off for approval, I sat down to vomit dirty Quokka stuff on canvas to maybe clear my head.

Expect more in the future - also, I've been suggested introducing separate sfw/nsfw tiers by at least two separate sources. Think that might be something worth looking into to allow people to avoid this kind of thing, if they wanna.
