First is the character select menu. From this menu, you can add or remove any character you've unlocked to your party. I've made some really nice progress recently! The screenshoot above shows the storage menu. You have limited inventory space, but chances are you won't want to sell every item you come across since a lot of them can be equipped, used for alchemy, or more. The storage allows you to store up to 99 of each type of item, as long as you have enough space in storage. I caught a cold a few days back and still feel a little tired, but I was able to get some decent work done anyways, to the point where I should be really close to done with the exploration system by the next update!
First of all, I implemented the new exploration UI and improved the way it works, expecially the direction buttons instead of having to hold a direction down, you can now double click a button to move around.

It's been pretty busy for me these last 3 weeks, but I still managed to do most of what I wanted.

There used to be a heart in the bottom left, but what I had in mind for it kinda sucked, so I decided to remove it, and instead show a picture of the place you're in, and what floor you're on. Instead of improving the exploration mode, I ended up designing pretty much everything I needed, as well as improving the fights' look and feel.

I'm back with a completely redesigned menu!
It mostly works the same, but looks a thousand times better.
I renamed the "Equipment" tab the "Spell Card". Like before, you can equip spells, relics and trinkets by grabing them from the inventory and dragging them over to the spot where you want to equip them. I added a bunch of cool things since last time, but the biggest addition is what you see in the screenshot, HE Fights!
Every now and then, an HE fight will appear instead of a normal fight. In this mode, waves of heart eaters will appear one after another until you have destroyed enough of them. You won't be able to stun them the way you did until now however, as there is no grid in the background.

Hi! I'm back with some cool stuff! But before I talk about this low quality gif, there are a few other things I did in these past 3 weeks:
The stats now have a use! It's nothing terribly complicated : Your character 's affinity for a certain type of magic (it's color) affects the spell. Hi! It's been 3 weeks since the last update, and things are going great!
If you remember, I said I was goind to rework some code in the last update. The most important things that had to be fixed were the buff/debuff system, the way the spells/relics worked, and the combo system. Alright! The poll ended, and we have 4 votes in. That's not very many, but that's what I expected. Problem is, 2 people voted for 2 weeks, and 2 others for 1 month...
I think the fair thing to do would be to go with 3 weeks, at least temporarily. Maybe we can redo the poll later when we have more people onboard, but 1 update every 3 weeks seems like a good idea for now, so we'll settle for that.

I'm finally coding again! And the tutorial is almost done!
Not only that, but I took advantage of it to make some nice text boxes that I'll be able to reuse later.

I've recently come to realize something : At first, my plan was to draw a bunch of monstergirls so that when I work on the game itself again, I can keep posting new monstergirls AND update you on game development. However, even by focusing on drawing, it takes me almost two weeks of spare time to make one monstergirl, so by the time I'm done, it's almost time to post it already.

This one is a bit weird, but drawing her was a lot of fun. I wasn't too sure what name to give her, so I settled on "alien" for now.
I'm working on more monstergirls, but I feel like I need to make some progress on the game. At the very least, I would like to release a small update that adds a tutorial near the end of april.
