For some reason, the  Irionitts were a nightmare for me to try and design, which is hilarious  because I only planned for like... maybe two to appear in the entirety  of the comic? I had the concept in my head like with the other aliens I  drew before them; in this case, short little alien...

I  tried out a bunch of different helmet/robot head designs for one of the  aliens I was working on. Honestly, I didn't find really any of them to  be particularly satisfying, at least compared to some of the ref images I  was using to help inspire me.

These doodles are originally back from 2016, almost a year before I'd officially start KttFF.

You  can see I was doing some explorations of an older version of Leon, as  well as getting some practice with him wearing his orange poncho. It  would take over 200 pages for him to get that poncho - ...

The person making the ask here - I call him Clockie - was the first to point out that if Trinity and Ms Shepard are /identical/ twins, that would imply that they're both trans.

I also personally think that Ms Shepard hasn't gotten any work done nor feels the inclination to present super feminine. She knows what she's about.

This is IT, the FINAL PAGE of Chapter 2!!! The intermission is DONE, and now the comic's going to be taking a break so I can prepare for CHAPTER 3!!!

In the meantime, I'll say that thumbnailing this page was tough. I wanted to do something a little extra dynamic to leave off on, and framing was troublesome. I also had a lot of ideas for how the gate is formed, but weaving the structure of that together was a pain too.

The last few panels were changed heavily from the script. For some reason, I didn't think to include an exterior shot of the mansion rising up and preparing for take-off (spoilers, it can do that). At least I realized I should probably include some of that /before/ I got to the actual page where it's important

One of the aspects of drawing digitally I really appreciate is being able to copy/paste complicated designs. Listen, if I'm gonna show the car from the same angle /anyway/, I don't feel the need to go through the process of drawing the thing again. I'm not getting paid for this, ya know!!!

Most of the character refs haven't been updated since /2019/ - heck, a few characters didn't even HAVE proper refs since the initial art I did back around 2016 - so it was safe to say an update was needed.

While this is being released freely, any of my patrons on either tier are probably already familiar with Ms Shepard. ;)

If you ever want to know how much of a stickler for details I can be, I actually went through the effort to figure out what phase of the moon would be out on Monday, April 26th, 2517. The things I do for this comic, I tell ya.
