It's been a minute: lore post /spiritual connections/

in part for an upcoming story I have wanted to do for a few years (and even talked abt with a friend irl) I needed to finalize a few details of the drake world and decide finally /commit to whether or not drakes have "souls" 

this was rather difficult for me, as I am neither spiritual nor religious and do not believe in any magical essence in us other than chemicals and neurons firing in sync to make consciousness and life.

Hades 2.0

I created Hades in 2020, as my "alt male sona" but honestly, he never took off in my mind, mostly because a very bad and pushy person I knew forced me to create a sibling for hades and insist that i drew porn of them--which ruined my own "sona" for me. 

TL;DR I reinvented Hades with my favorite patterns on any anthro--STRIPES.

Ezrael is well-known for never, ever using her fire. So when she does, the chemicals have sat fermenting in her glands for so long the result is explosive green flames that burn far hotter than normal drake flame. This is an issue, as she...well, burns herself too.

Albinism [merle] example

I quickly painted what an albino merle coat tropic drake would look like since I was asked in my last post and it was relevant.

her natural pre-albinism dna would have coded her for black/grey on white as her coat color. this drakes parents would have both had to carry the recessive gene for albinism for this to happen.
