One of my old species the Aesthar [Aestharii plural/possessive] are making a slight comeback, since I have a commission pending for a client with my own, Eclipse. so I decided to make the species availible again for discord peeps and patrons.

So, tropical drakes are now equipped with 6 toes, which I am rather excited about as I have had this idea for several months now but wasnt sure how it would be received. For the most part people like the unique feet, so I decided to stick to it...and well, I like them, so haha.

this is a very, VERY rough idea on how to draw drake heads by following nature, aka tracing photos. I originally based the loose anatomy of a drakes skull on the skull of utahraptor, and komodo dragons.
komodo dragons compared to lace monitors, are THICK BODIED, wider heads, all around much more bulky. Lace monitors grow large, but keep a streamlined head shape and sharp angles. aberrant drakes show these traits, tho a bit more exaggerated. I doodled this, like my past "guide...
