Qothari war hound 3d concept

something I've been messing with that's pretty therapeutic for me is sculpting 3d models for emain species so i have a reference for different angles and such. this is my finalized concept for the war hounds [at least for the headshape]. They sort of took on a dinosaur-like look to them but they are a quadruped canine. if i find time I will start rendering out the body as well, but with large plates/scales the body will take a lot of work. that's right, this isn't finished! after 9 hours [not counting the 1hr sketch/1hr ink times] I have most of this set up for painting.

and honestly I'm pretty darn excited about it haha. i know it's smut but I have worked quite hard on getting things just right for the bg.  I even went as far as creating/sculpting an entire proper planet for the background. and while it's not perfect, it's pretty awesome and I feel accomplished.

morning since I just woke up from a long weekend of one of my jobs (hi, I have 3 jobs now hhh)

I have decided to try something new! a new method to approach coloring, and I want to do a few samples to see if i can actually do it. normally I am always trying to perfect my style and push towards semi-realistic and that aspect wont change, I prefer the more realistic expressions (not anime side-mouth-syndrome) and a mix of semi-realistic eyes as well.

Fern version 15?

Fern Nicodiemus is the last remaining Mistavian dragon of Emain. He was my first ever creation, I was around 2-3 years old when I first invisioned a "falkor-like" dragon that ran alongside the vehicle as I was drove around in my early childhood. As I grew older, he continued to linger, this massive white, fuzzy dragon with big claws and big wings that i imagined hed suck into his body when not in use.
