We made it everyone! Thank you for being with me for 2023, it was a hard fought year to say the least. After two computer crashes, a rushed move, and a totaled car, I was very close to packing it in and giving u but I've been fighting to keep comics and projects coming in. As I try to experiment with my most recent comics, I'm excited to be offered worked on subjects I've never done before and inflation was not one I expected but I've been very excited by the challenge. Because it's a different genre, I've become warm to using characters' bodies as panel frames to keep the eyes interested in how each page is layered. Hoping to keep this theme of "blowing up out of the frame" through-out.

We went back to the beach and dad threw on the same swimming trunks (his legs are starting to get too big for it already). He left us on the beach to swim out and get his muscles pumped. He's so strong now that he causes huge waves as he zooms out into deeper waters. The photo was taken by underwater photographers that spotted him in deep sea. Dad couldn't help himself but give them a hulking flex as he passed by. It's crazy to think dad used to be this short little guy and now he swims miles...

Dad said he needed a break after playing with the nearby little people and swam out onto the water. A lot of nearby hotel guests came to see the loud disturbance but a lot of them seemed fine with the hulking island floating around. His snores made boat windows rattle but he remained unaffected. I was worried about sharks but going by the photo our drone took, there was nothing to worry about. Growing Dad needs Growing Dads
I've considered this for a few years and honestly, I dont know why I didn't do this sooner. I'm opening up a new tier for $10 called "Evergrowing Dad" with a huge focus on the man of the hour. We've finally made it to one of my favorite size ranges! Once it gets to this point, the size difference between the little character and the big character is so huge that I get to experiment with how I convey grand scale. I'd been meaning to draw something where the size is so extreme that the average person is lost in a forest of hair so my craving is beng satiated <3! II think this might also be the most Attack on Titan like angle I've ever chosen too lol.

My favorite thing to do when growing a character is hyper exaggerating their face with powerful cheekbones and a strong jaw and a forest of facial hair. This project has been really exciting as its shown a lot of polish and development n my work since the start. I always skim through old comics looking for the progress in my work and how I used to draw and write. You never know when your old ideas will come back and nudge you in the exact direction you need to go.
