The problem with the neighbor comic was always that I wanted to continue it but it suddenly stopped reflecting my skill as a comic artist. I've been tempted bring it back in a limited capacity as an experiment since I've tried to integrate it into other work but I think in isolation, I just respond to the fun of the idea. Dad's costume malfunction was sudden but luckily we'd planned a back up in case he'd grown too big since the fitting in September. Like a moving building, people at the Halloween party were excited but shocked as a massive, super sized firefighter stomped out of the woods. Dad loved leaning into a fun bit as he didnt know how much bigger he could get before they couldnt make next year's costume so we passed the fire station to have them spare us a truck to complete the lock.
