I've had to take on extra freelance work to make up for health costs recently and this is one of them. I drew Karin Kanzuki from the Street Fighter series for an upcoming Udon special. This is technically under a nondisclosure agreement so hush-hush, everyone! ;P
With that said, rewards for March will go out in the coming week! I've been waiting on some declined pledges which is why things are slower this month. Thanks kindly for your patience and your continued support! >-<

So this is a sketch of the second cover of my set of (two) future art books. They will both be the same size, but this one is going to be landscape to accommodate all the dancing spreads I ended up with LOL. I considered putting everything into one book but I couldn't reconcile with my illustrations becoming squished tiny because most of them are portrait size. The things I do for quality... Anyway, enjoy this patron-only post!

"Uriel" means "fire of god" and he is often portrayed with a torch and a flaming sword. I wanted both but I thought it'd be a little much so I just turned him into a torch/candle instead. The remaining archangels (according to sources there are 7, but according to my research there are many more lmao fux) will probably be designed when I finish studying.
I totally want to make foil accented prints of these designs u///u

I've been making these Archangel designs based on hanbok (traditional Korean wear) for my comic concept. I did a lot of research on them and found out some cool stuff!! I picked the sun as Michael's motif. Hoping I can get enough solid research material (I ordered a book) to supplement some of the more obscure archangels.
