I've decided to spread this week's updated mods a bit, starting with all frog mods today.

New week, so new updates I'm planning to do.
For this week I'm planning to update more mods that will look good in the new ponds, so think about all frog mods I made. To give some examples, the jumping frog (which disappears either in the ground or in a swimming pool depending on where you place it), the swimming frogs (Lily pads with a swimming frogs vfx attached to it) but also the 25 frog species that can normally be caught to be placed...

Hello everyone,
I've updated my Water Reed + Pond Animals and my Water Reed + Dragonflies &Catch interaction mods

Yesterday when working on updating mods, Icemunmun asked if I could update and send her some animals for the terrarium mod, as she wanted to work on it again. So I've updated the poison dart frogs and tree toad to appear in the Pond vfx section.

Hi all,
Something else today as I wanted to do something different then working on updates all the time and there fore bring back the fun a bit. ;) I decided to play a bit with the new pond tool and ended up with these cool looking multi-level ponds. I made both a more natural looking multi-level pond as well as a more modern one. The modern one also looks great as koi fish pond. I even added a glass fence so our Sims toddlers can't fall in the water.

Hello all,
I just wanted to give an update on the updating process. It's not going very well..😅
First of all the pond VFX items can't be recreated. There's probably a problem with the in-game code which makes it not possible for modders to create their own visible in build mode and invisible in live mode vfx spawners.

Today I've worked on a few different things. Most of the time I was trying to make the visible in build mode and invisible in live mode object to work. And then the part where it spawns a certain vfx as that's the only (and most important) part that doesn't work at the moment.

My 2 weeks of holidays have just been ended and I'm already getting stressed seeing the amount of mods that needs updating.
Now it's clear that I need to update all my pond-related mods (Pool waters, fountains, waterfalls, vfx spawners etc.) to make them at least findable in game again, but what about my Non-Pond-related objects? Should I make them all more easy to find by adding them all into one category in Build Mode?

An update of what I've been up to the last couple days.
First of all, I haven't checked any of the Cottage Living's objects yet, neither did I check it's new world. The reason for that, is because I was too busy taking a look at the new pond tool and finding out how the 'visible in Build mode but invisible in Live mode objects have been made.

As the former images were quite dark and a bit further away, here a more closer look at the snake and lizard.
As for the effects themselfs, the snake will crawl in a straight line with small clouds of dust behind it, before disappearing at a certain distance. So it looks more realistic when using a bush on the place where it disappears.
The lizard effect has two possible routs to run before disappearing. Also in this case placing something like a bush there looks better.

I've had some time to think about what I wanted besides an invisible floor decal to spawn the deserst snake and lizard, and this is the outcome of that.
The first swatch will give you an invisible floor decal, like a lot of my other mods.
The second will give you an image of the animal it spawns. So more or less an animal droven over by a car as it's totally flat...

At the above screenshots you see the desert snake and desert lizard. Both are attached to an invisibel object and will crawl in the direction of the footprint's arrow.
The snake effect will be repeated for an infinite time approximately every in-game hour and the lizard approximately every in-game 20 minutes.
As a lot of people don't like to have an entirely invisible object, as it's difficult to find it back, I'm trying if I can think of some kind of floor decal to spawn them fro...

A small change of plans for my next project. A week or so ago, I mentioned that my next project will again be something animated and that it will probably be about the snake, rat or insect that came with Star Wars game pack (Just as the Steelpecker).
