The problem I showed with the reflection of the lava pool water seems to be lot related.
I build my volcano on a large lot near the water with fountain in New Crest. Today I discovered that other EA pool waters also got the same problem, so I tested in another save file some other pools. It turned out that not all pools had this reflection problem which changes when zooming in or out or looking from certain angles at the water. So I guess if I build the volcano on another lot it might look...

Like I already mentioned in yesterday's post, the angle from which you look at the "lava" will decide how it will be shown. In most cases, you will see the lava pool water as shown in the first image with the "white glare" over it, which is the reflection of the sky.
From up-close, this glare will disappear which makes the colors of the lava to become more bright. In my opinion the lava looks even better this way, but I couldn't make it so you will see...

As I haven't got much time the former days to work on my new project and because some troubles with it, I don't have that much to show yet. But I think this is already a nice start.
In the screenshots you see the Lava Pool Water I made. Just as other pool waters, your Sims can swim in it without any problems. It also "flows" a bit like other pool waters do.
The part which gave me troubles was when I tried to remove the reflection, as I thought without reflection it would even look be...

Sulani Public Bathroom + Shower interaction
When using the public bathroom in Sulani, I noticed that you can only use it to go to the toilet. In most cases in real life, there's also the possibility to take a shower to wash off all sand and salt of your skin.
That's why I decided to add this interaction to the public bathroom of Sulani together with a few additional recolors and small deco slots.

Hi all!
As I won't be home today, the new Sulani Public Bathroom + Shower announcements will only appear on YouTube, Patreon and Tumblr.

The first image shows the default recolors, the second image shows three a bit older looking public bathrooms with algea on the wooden parts and in the last image the public bathrooms look more like new ones with much brighter colors.
I will be using the green one on the last image the most I think. 😁

This is definitely not the way you should use all added deco slots, but it does show you where all 27 slots a re placed!
Besides using the seagulls, you can also use my other animated birds and even the iguanas on the roof. :)

Hello!
The first thing about the public bathroom has been added, your Sims can now also use it to take showers in, instead of only using it to go to the toilet.
I'm also adding a few small deco slots on top of the building and on the fence, so some of my animated animals can be placed onto it.
Haven't worked on the recolors yet!

As for my next project, I think it's going to be a beach mod again. In Sulani there're these public bathrooms where your Sims are able to use the toilet. Something I thought and I also heard James Turner about back when it was just released, is that it's more logical at the beach if those can be used for taking a shower too. Like can be seen on the images, these crow can also be placed on top of your roof. You might need to make some small adjustments when placing, but that's all explained in the final video that will be released this friday. :)

Animated Birds - Flock of Crows
Curious at the whole effect? Take a look at the video above. You will see a whole flock of crows fly in and fly away again. As they all fly in and out on exact the same time it looks like they're scared at something when flying away making crow sounds!

As can be seen on the screenshot, the animated crow object can also be placed onto deco slots in game. It doesn't matter if these are small, medium or large slots.
On the screenshot I placed them onto small slots which I've added to my Unlocked and Recolored Cats & Dogs Town Statue and on small slots I've added to an outdoor bench.

On this sneak peek image you see the crow after it has landed on the terrain.
By default only one crow will land, so in this case I placed 2 invisible objects.
As you can see, they're not facing both into exactly the same direction as I rotated them both a bit. When you take a look at the footprint when placing, the green arrow points in the direction the crow will fly away. So the opposite direction is where it will fly in.

The recolors for the branches fence are the exact same recolors as the original room divider object had. Because of these recolors, they can be matched very easily with the fence-gates in game.
You do need to use the moveobjects on cheat for placing the gates in between the branches fences though, as it isn't a fence created with the fence tool.

The first sneak peek of this week's mod is about the three different sizes.

Something I haven't shared about these objects yet, is that they can also be placed on the water surfaces of you fountains and pools without using any cheats. This makes it look a bit like you can have curved walls in there.

I have no idea what caused it, but suddenly my unlocked lawn parts I made back in 2015 do work in game with all additional recolors. I just wanted to make a video about the not recoloring part for in the intro of the video, to find out that there's no problem with the recoloring... Maybe it was caused by another mod which is now updated or something.
If it was working the last time I checked I wouldn't have made this new version probably 😅

After a hard day of work yesterday, I've finally finished all 18 different shaped lawn parts!
Each image shows one of each shape placed together with other shapes except from the last image as that's the one with the quatre lawn - circle lawn parts which I've already showed before. Normally I would decorate them a lot more of course, but if I would do that, you won't see the actual shape that well anymore.

As mentioned yesterday, all screenshots I made before were made with the lawn parts raised out of the ground, so the textures were better visible. In the first image you see what's visible of them when placed without raising them out of the ground.
The second image is just as all others, but with the same textures as used in the first image so the difference is better visible.

Another sneak peek, this time of all 16 available recolors for the outside of the lawn parts.
So these are the 12 of my first pack in 2015 and an addtional 4 wooden textures.
To make them better visible I've raised the objects a bit above the ground. Normally only the first row of stones/wood will be visible. I will make a screenshot of the default height placement too, so you can see the difference in my next sneak peek.
