Sneak Peek Image - Lawn Parts - Grass & Sands!

In the above image you see why the opinion of my Patrons is important to me.
After Patron K saying that the ability to use the beach sand would be very nice for resorts or homes that have meditation areas, I decided to let it in! The only downside would be the green shade at the border, but as it's probably somewhere in the files what would affect all lawn parts, it's best to leave it in I think. (I still can't find it, so I have no choise either)

I just thought to take another fresh look at the lawn parts after not working on them for some time. Most of the time this makes objects to become better as you see things that doesn't look that good after all. 

Also for this particular object, as I think the Beach Sand parts don't look that good and might not be used that much either in builds. What annoys me the most is the green-isch shade around the beach sand which I don't know where it comes from as I can't find a texture for...

Planet Zoo Beta - Ostriches & Warthogs habitats

Some more animals with their babies on the images above! As for the baby ostriches they're not that good visible, but they refused to come near. So maybe some better shots later this week if you want to see them from more up-close.
This habitat was some sort of test as it's my first habitat with a "natural fence". In this case it's made out of a small stream of water with rocks in between the pathways and the animals.

Planet Zoo Beta - Tapirs

Had some more time today to play Planet Zoo and I definitely think you should see how cute the baby tapirs look! Also the adult one looks incredibly good! Especially considering it's swimming in the water which makes the skin to shine quite beautiful!

As for the Grizzly Bears, I've placed a male in the habitat too, so I hope for some cute little bear cubs tomorrow. Will definitely show those to you too of course!

Planet Zoo Beta - Grizzly Habitat

Next Project will be a fixed mod pack again

My next project will be a Fixed/Updated Pack again!
This weekend I got a message about my Unlocked Lawn Parts which I unlocked and added several new textures too back in januari 2015.. (That's already more then 4 years ago! 😲 )

The thing with these lawn parts is, that all additional textures aren't working anymore. No matter which swatch you choose, you will always end up with the same rock texture around the lawn parts. This only counts for the original lawn...

Made a small change to the fish mods

Hello all,

I was already making screenshots and writing the voice over when at some point I wanted to see if I could fix one small "problem" with all of these fish mods.

The thing was , that after leaving the lot or the entire game and coming back to the lot where the objects were placed on, the effects would have been disabled.
As the floor decals become invisible when placed underneath the ocean's water surface, this made it very hard to sometimes find all of these placed fl...

Sneak Peek Images - Animated Fish - Examples Scenes

On the images above you can see a few of the fish that will be available in my first Animated Placeable Fish Pack.

On the first image the Betta, Angelfish and Eels can be seen.
The second one has Exotic Goldfish, Goldfish and Bass and the third one has Guppies and Eels again.

Now the rest of the time left, I need to focus on writing and recording a voice over and recording footage, making screenshots and eventually the entire video! So still a lot of stuff to do!

Sneak Peek Image - Pack 1 - All 12 Fish Species

After some hard work I decided for the first pack to contain 12 fish species, which can all be seen in the image above. To see them in motion you need to watch the final video, as I don't have time to make more sneak peek videos.

I will upload 3 more sneak peek images in a few minutes where you can see them swim in the ocean though.

Sneak Peek Images - Animated Fish - First 5 Species

Very busy week again, but I still hope to finish this first pack of probably 10 fish species this week. The first 5 can already be seen in the screenshot above on which I spawned each of them 8x above the beach  😁 

The species visible are:
Angelfish, Anglerfish, Bass, Batfish and Bettas.

Some more have already been made too, but haven't got time to make some extra screenshots yet. Of course more sneak peeks will follow this week!

Sneak Peek - Animated - Placeable Fish

My idea for my next project will probably be the biggest one I've ever made!
The idea is to make Animated - Placeable Fish for your Oceans and custom aquariums.
Now why will this be my biggest project so far? Well, I've searched how many fish species there're in game right now and there're far more then I expected....52 Species!

Update on Realm of Magic Effects + next mod

I've did some more searching and tests and found a some more effects. A few of them are effects like mist or water effects and also some group of insects too.

I've also found on the Studio Forums, that Andrew is going to update the effects list after the next pack, which is Realm of Magic and will be out tomorrow already. So I hope it will give me some cool new effect codes for future mods. Some of them would be from the Island Living EP, others from the new GP.

I already took a look at the new effects codes, though it's really hard nowadays as Andrew hasn't updated the full effects list since Get Famous. The big difference between the original effects binary file and Andrew's Effects list, is that on his list it's only effects nicely listed among each another. The binary file is one big mess of code with a lot of symbols and effects codes in between this which makes it really difficult to find them.

Sneak Peek Image - Starfish GLOW

Ok, maybe not that good visible, but they're definitely glowing at those small little spots on their arms and a tiny bit underneath that too.

Just finished recording all video footage and screenshots needed for the final video this friday! Really happy about that as it was quite some work.

Sneak Peek Image - Reef Deco GLOW

I've worked on making multiple corals to glow at night which can be seen by comparing the day screenshot with the night screenshot. The only glowing objects that aren't visible on these screenshots are the Starfish. So I will have to make a new screenshot for those.

There's a total of 7 objects out of 12 that glow at night.

Reef Deco Pack - Glow in the dark!

Something special I discovered while making and testing all different Corals, was that two of them started to glow when the night falls is. This makes the ocean and aquarium at night to look way more mysterious and at the same time more beautiful.

The objects that already have this feature are the Brain Corals, the big round ones I made in the beginning of this pack, and the Tube Sponges (Three tubes).

Sneak Peek Image - Lichen Coral (Effect)

Last week I wrote that I wanted to add one more object to the pack to get a total of 12 objects in this pack. I've just finished that object which will only have one single look as it's an effect for which I can't make recolors.

On the image it's the light-red bunch of coral. In this case I also placed three of them on the same spot but rotated them all a bit to get a more dense coral. I don't like this one as much as the others, but maybe that's also because I can't make some matching ...

Reached 2500 Tumblr Followers!

Just before the weekend I noticed I've reached 2500 followers on Tumblr! That's even more then half of my YouTube Subs! (I need 16 more to reach 5K YT subs!)

Sneak Peek Images - Treasure Chest - Recolors

The final Sneak Peek of this week is a special one as it isn't a coral type.
The treasure chest on these images is one you can unlock in Island Living with one of the careers. I've made it placeable for everyone though without having to unlock it.

Sneak Peek Images - Tube Coral

Another object for the pack with almost the same name as the one in the former sneak peek. This time it's the Tube Coral though!

In my examples images I placed them on top of the Coral Reef Rocks for the most of them as they look even better on the rocks then on the ocean floor. I've also used multiple colored ones and 'layered' them by using different sizes and placing them near each other.
On the images in the aquarium you can also see them in the holes of the Coral Reef Rock Wall ...

Sneak Peek Images - Tube Sponge (+Coral Outcrop)

Hello everyone,

I've worked hard today to get some more objects finished with almost all of them having a total of 8 matching recolors. Matching as in matching to my Coral Reef Rocks aswell as to the other objects in this pack.

On the first image there's also a Coral Outcrop which is more of a Rock object, but great to use in combination with the corals. It has 2 recolors, just as the other rocks in the former pack. One healthy and one dead recolor.
