1000 Tumblr Followers!

I didn't noticed until now, but I've reached 1000 followers on Tumblr already!  😊 

I started Tumblr on 20-06-2017, so it's almost exact a year later reaching this amount of followers. I hope to continu to grow and be able to get to 1500 maybe at the end of the year?

Now most people will share a 1000-followers gift, but as I didn't really noticed my growth I don't have anything special to celebrate this milestone. So I just share it with you then!  😉 

New Mod / Video!

Maybe you've made a Japanese Garden sometime, but felt there was something missing. This mod might be just that one thing as it will give you 6 Animated Koi Fish that will swim around.

This sneak peek will finally show you the koi fish in motion on my Japanese Garden lot.

Koi Fish - Thumbnail!

I thought, maybe it's nice to already share the final thumbnail with you, so here it is!

It looks way better with the giant lily pads and frogs still on the screenshot, but moved to the side a bit so the attention (hopefully) go's out to the Koi fish.

I don't have any time tomorrow to do anything about the video or mod, so I'm a bit late this week doing everything, but if everything will keep going this easy today, I will probably be ready right in time. Just finished recording video, ma...

Possible Thumbnail - Koi Fish

Yesterday I wasn't certain about what kind of screenshot to use for the thumbnail. But it's probably going to be something like this..

Although it might be better to move the giant lily pads and frog more to the side, as it's about the fish and not about the lily pads and frog.

The reason those are also on the picture is not only because it looks nice, but also so you can see the size of these koi fish a bit better.

This looks way better...more alive...those frogs were definitely missing in this scene.. 😁 

Also, you can see the actual mod much better in this screenshot.
I'm still not sure what I will do with the thumbnail for this mod either.
Something like this, or more zoomed in on the actual mod..

So, maybe you're thinking after hours you made it into this?
Uhh...no, but this is one of the screenshots I made while working on it and  the screenshot after this one was made when I've got is sort of finished.

The stupid thing is, this all is made to be able to place koi fish in the fountain in front of it. For some reason I just can't make a scene without decorating all around it...  😁 

Anyway, tomorrow you will all see the finished version of it and probably also...

Sneak Peek Image - Japanese Garden (koi)

So this is what I have so far...
It's not much, but it's something. My plan is to make a small custom pond (fountain) around it and place the Koi fish in there.

This would probably be a good one for  speed build, but I haven't recorded any. So Maybe I will try to not fully finish this lot and then start all over again for a future speed built. But I might need some more placeable bird and maybe insects mods for that too.. Damn, more ideas...

Creativity has returned! *YEAH!*

Hello again,

Creativity restored! There are plans and things being made.
This week's mod will be a new kind of "Placeable animals": The Fishes!

To be more precisely, placeable koi fish.
This invisible object will spawn 6 koi fish swimming around for an infinite time. They can be used in your normal custom ponds, but fit even better in a Japanese Garden.

Speaking about such a garden, of course my video will have an example scene as always and I'm trying to make such a garden...

Creativity Block today..

Hi all!

As the title already says, I'm having a serious creativity block today.
I can't really work on any mod right now, nothing really "works" and when trying to make something in game on a lot all looks like crap too.

So for this week's mod I can't really say anything as I have no idea what to work on. I think I'm not going to try to do anything about it either for the rest of the day as it doesn't make me happy today for some reason.

Reached 100 Followers on Twitter!

I just saw this morning that I reached 100 followers on twitter, but I didn't had time to make a quick screenshot and Patreon post about it, so now it changed to 102, which is perfectly fine too!

I don't have any idea how fast other people grow on twitter, but it's nice to have already reached the first 100 after 6 months.  😀 

Hope many others will follow despite the fact that I don't share that much else besides uploaded mods/videos..

Sneak Peek Image - Amanita Muscaria - Small

As you might want to add some small realistic looking mushrooms to your garden too, I also made smaller versions of them. Big advantage compared to the big one, these can be made even smaller using the open bracket key.

When you shrink the large version, the smallest you can get in the size of the small version.

I've also made them able to be placed onto deco slots.

Some more info and examples on where to use them for, including a nice outro with gnomes around a campfire can be see...

I thought, maybe it's nice to see the different appeareances next to each other too. Of course the difference between morning, noon and evening isn't that big, but you definitely see a change when looking at the night time.

Sneak Peek Image - Amanita Muscaria ☀️

This is my first natural version of the Amanita Muscaria.
The sun in the title is there because at night time certain parts of this mushroom will start to glow.

The result of that can be seen in my next sneak peek image. :)

New Plan! 🍄

Ok, there's a new plan and I'm quite sure that no-one has made something like this before. or at least not exact my idea..  😋 

The mushroom you see on the screenshot above is one of the objects that can be found in Sixam. For the people not knowing: Sixam is a secret Alien World which came with the Get to Work expansion pack.
To enter it, you need to build a wormhole which can be done by reaching level 10 of Rocket Science.

Now unlocking these objects is already be done b...

Plans Changed!

Ok, so one of my own Patrons already made a way better Exit sign that mine would ever be. So because of that, I'm going to skip this and try to make something else for this week. I'm not sure what exactly yet though..

I wanted to already share my idea for next week.
Some months back I experimented a bit with making objects automaticly glow in the night and I just read one of my ideas on my idea-list which I thought would be the perfect object to test this on.

In the City Living expansion pack, there's this Emergency Exit Sign. Besides simply unlocking the original object with all of it's recolors, I will also try to make this object glow in the dark. So just as a normal Exit Sign in our rea...

Update about my foot!

Hello all,

It's been a while since my latest "Broken-foot"update, but I went to the hospital yesterday again and I don't need to wear the "moon-boot" anymore now.

I do still use my crutches when walking outside, or 1 at the moment actually. And inside the house I try to do it without.
Of course it still hurts now as I haven't used the muscles in my leg and foot for 6 weeks now. 

The most annoying thing is, I don't know how to walk normally with my right foot..  😅 It...

Sneak peek image - Invisible Fence 2

In this image you can see how the invisible fence looks BEFORE making it actually invisible. 

The fences/walls placed besides the pathway will make the Sim to follow it all the way to the front door. On the left side, you can see how one single fence looks from both sides.

By using the recolor tool and selecting the second swatch, you can make all the objects invisible. :)

I wanted to share something more about these invisible fences and decided that maybe the thumbnail and an additional image will explain it all a bit better.

So in this image you can see how Sims will walk without- and with the invisible fences placed.

My next post will show you how the visible versions look and how I placed those to accomplish that the Sim will follow the path.

Invisible Fence Sneak Peeks

You might have noticed that not much of the invisible fences has been released yet here on Patreon. The main reason is that I've got a lot of things going on outside of The Sims right now which are far more important.

So I can't promise that today the first sneak peeks will be shared, but I will see what I can come up with.

Hello all!

I wasn't quite sure what to do for next week, because after I came up with a certain plan and tried to make it work, everything went wrong!

It was al about creating an invisible fence.
Now I had a good night of sleep and tried it again and had a lot more of  success. It still needs a lot of adjustments though.
