Here's the process shots of "January Skies." I loved creating this piece!
I am personally not a big fan of the cold but I really love the pink hues during sunsets in winter.
For this painting, I was very much inspired by the colour schemes and exterior of Victorian houses.
I originally wanted to paint the house pink but decided to change it to a more darker palette since the pink house would blend in too much with the warm lighting and pink ton...

Hello everyone! Here are the process shots of my illustration, "Before Supper."
What started as a photo study turned into an illustration! You can see the process of when I changed my mind!
As you already may know, Iām a big sucker for warm lighting and the golden hour. I wanted the focal point to be on the cat during the early stage (similar to the reference photo), however I changed my mind when I knew I wanted to set the tone to a late afternoon sky.
