I collabed with Jiro on this original festive track about what we really want for christmas. Jiro wrote most of the song cause he's a lyrical genius and I just wrote my one verse at the very end (the one that starts with "last christmas") He also produced the backing track for it and it is very swag and epic. Last month I released an album with my friend Thomas called Magic Circuit (for his band named Magic Circuit, hehe) and I recorded vocals for 7 songs. My finished Japanese lines for a video game character!

I posted before about getting a Japanese role in a game, and after lots of practice and some frustrating sessions I finally finished recording for her. She's a kinda gruff but spunky ninja girl with a medium-range-ish voice and lots of wisdom. I don't think it's that bad for my first time professionally voicing a character in Japanese but I had to curtail my crazy perfectionist tendencies a bit to get this done on time and not be agonizing over it forever. It was not easy..But I had fun anyway.....

Yuri's Story (a reading of the scary DDLC story)

Back in April when I was raising funds to move out, a really nice person commissioned me to do a reading of the creepypasta that was hidden in Yuri's character file from the game Doki Doki Literature club, while using a deeper, Yuri-like voice like the one I used in my streams of the game. Since it's almost spooky season, I figured this would be the perfect time to share it!

my voice tests for a Japanese character role!

I was offered another role in Popup Dungeon!!! Which is extremely cool. The character is part of the Japanese-themed tile set and they asked me to record lines in Japanese for her! I'm not fluent at all and I'm pretty rusty with my intonation and stuff so it was a bit of a challenge. Also I feel like I'm way behind in learning to voice-act in languages other than english haha, it was like starting all over again.
She's basically a ninja and they wanted her to have a sort of high-spirited tom...

The character I play in Popup Dungeon: Gosselin!

I had the amazing opportunity to play Gosselin in Popup Dungeon, a papercraft roguelike RPG developed by Triple-B-Titles! She's a little goth lady with a monstrous sweet-tooth, and I had so much fun voicing her. The game is still in Pre-Alpha, and I was given a steam key to try it out by the developers so I put together a short sample video of highlights featuring my character for you to watch! I wrapped up the main recording for my newest game role and put together a lil blooper reel of all the times I GOOFED up. I had to leave out a lot of the ones with distinguishable lines from the game cause that would be leaking secret stuff...But yeah! Enjoy!

I did it!! I got a part in a game!

I'm not sure if I can tell which game and which role yet, or if I have to wait until the release date, so for now I have to keep those parts a secret, but it's a professional title with a bunch of legit actors who have been in anime and other games like Borderlands and Smite! It's extremely cool!!!

It's really exciting cause I haven't been involved with something at this level before...The game has been in production for years and it's nearing release and it's probably the most profession...

Here's another update on the project I'm collaborating on with Magic Circuit for their album (release date is hopefully sometime this month but it's not set in stone yet) we've had the super huge honor of the incredibly talented Luke Silas of Anamanaguchi and knife city coming on board to help with polishing the mix/mastering of each track for the finished album!

Hello! I am finally settled into my new apartment and ready to start making stuff again, but for now here is the latest song I worked on with Magic Circuit, my friend and the musician behind our last song "Witch"! I don't think this is the final cut of the song so it may be slightly different on official release, but so far it sounds so awesome!!!
I'm going to be lending my vocals to a few more songs on Magic Circuit's first album and I'm really looking forward to it cause recording for this...

Witch - Original song I did vocals for!

I'm really excited to show this to everybody even though it's not quite done yet (I think my friend is still completing the mix of it and refining stuff so this is like an almoooost done version) but my friend started a new music project called Magic Circuit, and he composed this awesome song for me to sing on! It's called Witch, and the lyrics are simple but tell a really vivid story nonetheless.
I spent many hours this weekend recording my vocals for it and did tons of takes for each part ...

I made this song months ago as you can probably tell, but hesitated to put it on Youtube since I'm self-conscious and I'm scared that people won't like it!!! But a lot of people have told me that they enjoy the song a lot so that helped me work up the courage to put it up on my channel. I had a lot of fun making the video for this cause I experimented with some funky stylistic stuff that I think makes it pretty interesting to look at (and erio touwa is really cute)

Nyan's Not Hot (Man's Not Hot cover)

I know this is 1000 years late but I still wanted to do it!! And apparently a lot of people also wanted it because it won the poll I put up :D I'm still going to do Stir Fry by Migos mostly because it's a super catchy song and I love it but this one will be uploaded first. For some reason this was really challenging for me at some parts, I think it's cause of how irregular some of the rapping parts are? Short DDLC fandub: Yuri's Suggestion!

I got to voice Yuri in a fandub with StrawberrySana, so I recorded my lines today and put them all together in a little yuri....reel! The scene we are doing is the one where Yuri and Monika get in a little fight over who gets to hang out with the protagonist while preparing for the festival.
