A fun YCH commission and a dip back into the Old Republic timeline, this time with the red haired Mandalorian herself, who I remember was all over that announcement trailer back in 2011. The helmet was particularly interesting to draw, with different elements seen on the traditional Boba Fett, but with a lack of painting, a weird metal finish and the glossy visor, very unlike the typical sort.

Seems simple but I got the idea for the speech bubbles that way from InCase, it's clean and easy on the eyes, and stops all that faffing about with outlines.

A little bonus, needs some extra touch ups maybe. I would have finished this one about a month ago, however a glitch crashed the program, and erased her face. A face I was pretty close to finishing, so I put it aside, and here we are again.
She came out a little pale, so as I was putting the background together I decided to go for this sort of flash photography look, it's getting dark in the dunes and the flash isn't centred but it's an interesting look.

I sat on this piece for a little while because I simply wasn't happy with how it looked, and missed opportunities to fix it to time the release with series 3, or Video Game Month, but here we finally up. With The Marvels finally upon us it's time to revisit and release these two pieces. Carol went through a few changes from the initial drawing back in early May of 2023, and now it's in its final stage.
