After shooting all morning out at Little Finland, we moved to Kurt's Grotto. Since Dasha and I had shot inside the grotto last year we decided to stay outside along the cliff face and shoot. If you look closely, you can see some faded petroglyphs on the rock behind Dasha.

I really like how this one turned out. We shot this in the early afternoon and it was harsh sun at the time. We moved Dasha into shade to get the even lighting.

Femina, Dasha and I and one other photographer went out to the Great Salt Lake one morning. This set is a partial result of our efforts. Femina is wonderful to work with, but she is a bit of a perfectionist. I hope you enjoy this small set. I've been out of town and threw it together for your enjoyment. We had to hike about a mile out to get to the water's edge, and while we were there a family with children came wondering near us. We stopped shooting nudes while they were there, but started up again once they left. The husband kept looking back over his shoulder though :-).

The lake bed is littered with these old pilings which at one time supported piers that extended into the lake. The lake level has dropped so much that they now are standing out of the water. It doesn't take much for the water to rise.

You have to hike down to this beach using a rope that someone tied to a boulder on the cliff. It's quite the experience especially with camera gear. I like Floofie's engagement with the camera in this one.

One of my followers requested some additional photos of Kira while she was pregnant. I've shot other women who were pregnant, but none of them are as elegant as Kira. I hope you enjoy this short series shot in June when she was about six months along. I shot with Kira again just last month, some of which I've posted. She's due in October.
