Maria called and was on spring break in Las Vegas with her husband. He had gone golfing and she wanted some new material for her Patreon page. We spent a few hours at the dry lake bed and then at Lake Mead at a location I had discovered with Jill. It was finally warm enough. This was the first time Sienna and I shot together. We were scheduled to shoot at the end of April with Dasha, and Sienna was in town and asked if we could go out and shoot just to get acquainted with one another. We went out to Redstone in the late afternoon and spent a couple of hours getting some really good stuff.

April was a real popular month for traveling models into Las Vegas. I didn't mind. KayJay came through and stayed with Tiffany at her place. We spent the day at several locations including the cement plant. They're tearing it down for the steel content, so I don't know how much longer I'll be able to shoot there.

Ivy has modeled for Penthouse and other publications. She was saying about the only mainstream magazine she hasn't been in is Hustler. She was traveling through the area at the end of April, and we scheduled this shoot during the last week in April. I had several shoots in the last week of April. Ivy is also an accomplished photographer and a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Dasha, Sienna, another photographer, and I spent two days shooting at various locations around southern Nevada. Late April is usually pretty good for shooting, but in 2018, the weather was very hot. We shot in this cavern out in the Gold Butte National Monument. While we were there a couple of volunteers came along inventorying archaeological features. We continued shooting while they went to the other end of the cavern :-)

Zoe was making her marathon tour through the southwest and stopped and spent the day with me out in the Gold Butte National Monument. Obama established it as one of his last acts in office. I don't recall reading in the act that he wanted to preserve some great fine art nude photography locations, but I'm sure it was just an oversight on his part. :-)

I had met Sierra's newborn son in December, but my wife hadn't yet seen him so we stopped by her home on the way to Wyoming and visited for a few minutes. Sierra wanted some shots of her and the baby so I got out the camera and started shooting away. I really love this photo. It will be one that Mom uses for blackmail when he gets older.

Tiffany moved to Las Vegas for a short while last year and we got together to shoot in early June. I usually shoot art nudes, but this time around I wanted to shoot a little edgier photos and asked Tiffany if she would be up for it. She agreed. Starting off the second half of my year in review with Gwen. She was on her way through my area in Wyoming to a Weston Photo Workshop in southern Wyoming. I was in Oregon watching my nephew play in a baseball tournament and had a free day. It turns out Bree and Floofie also had the day available to shoot. We went out east of Portland to White River Falls and spent some time along the White River shooting. It was a perfect day for it. These were taken at the end of June. I always jump at the chance to shoot with these beautiful and talented women.

Floofie and Bree work so well together. We wrapped up the shoot at the river bank when a fisherman and his wife wanted to fish where we were shooting. I don't think the husband minded us all that much, but you could tell his wife wasn't all that thrilled with our shenanigans. :-))

In the middle of August I joined Floofie, Merrique, and Zoe in Oregon for a three day 6 location shoot. I along with 5 other photographers shot these three lovely women. The first day was spent traveling. The morning of the second day was spent at a remote beach. It was accessible by rope. Zoe, Merrique, and Floofie all created some terrific poses in a very chilly morning location. It was a semi-private beach, but if you look behind Zoe's head you can see a house. We were visible all during the shoot from the house at the top of the cliff.

The last and final day of the ExplOregon Adventure Tour was spent at a lake and sanddunes off the coast a little ways. Floofie, Merrique, and Zoe posed for this photo at the end of the shoot. It was a great tour and day.

Pure Rebel and I shot this series in early September. The temperature was hotter than normal and my truck ended up overheating at the end of the shoot, but all in all it was a good day. Rebel is an excellent subject and a very talented model. No, I'm not standing on my head or turning the photo upside down. :-)) Rebel is on her head on the hard rock. Anything for the shot.

Rae and Jenn contacted me and asked if I wanted to shoot with them in early September. I was in town for a car race and said that I'd be interested but it might be a little hot. It was darn hot. I think by the time the shoot ended, the temperature was over 100 degrees F.
