KayJay

Sometimes you just forget how well a photoshoot went and forget to process some really great images.  This is one of those shoots.  I was going through my files and ran across this one which to be honest with you was a photoshoot I forgot about, because I was processing something else at the time.  KayJay is a wonderful model and a very beautiful subject.  We spent the day touring around some of her and my favorite spots and shooting photos.  She has more of a real woman...

Viktoria

Viktoria and I shot this set back in April.  She had just received her Green Card and was very excited about being on the path to citizenship.  She's originally from Austria and was a classical ballet dancer even though she was told her whole life that she was too big to be a dancer.  She originally followed her dream and landed in New York where she danced professionally for a while.  Unfortunately being told all her life she was too big took a toll on her health.  She ...

Verronica

Another photo of the talented and beautiful Verronica.  This was shot out in Redstone (my favorite location).  Verronica had just recovered from a bout with poison ivy which had prevented her from modeling for about a month.  There was still a little bit of a rash on her thigh.  She had laid in a bushy area during a shoot in California and it turned out there was some hidden poison ivy under the bushes she was laying in.  I told her not to worry about poison ivy, snakes ...

Marie

If you've been reading my posts versus just looking at the pictures, you know I resolved to work with some new models this year.  Marie is one of them.  She hails from Canada.  You sure do raise them right up there Lin :-).  She and her boyfriend were in Las Vegas and contacted me.  This is probably my last outdoor shoot for the year.  The weather in Las Vegas turned cold, well cold for nude modeling that is.  Marie was a little cold at the end of the shoot, bu...

The black and white version of the photo.  This one works as both color and B&W.

Verronica

Verronica had someone cancel on her and called me to see if I wanted to shoot.  Silly question and too bad for the person that cancelled.  She had nothing with desert scenery for her portfolio, and she and I were on a mission to fix that.  She lives in Oregon.  This is one result.  It's getting close to the holidays in Nevada and the weather is turning cool.  Notice I didn't say cold.  It's cold in Wyoming, not Nevada.  My outdoor activities are winding do...

Double Trouble

Lexi and Ashley and I were over in Moab last month.  Lexi asked me for some photos of the two of them together, and as I said when Inna did the same thing, I love it when models ask me for photos.  It gives me the opportunity to look though what I've got on file and choose more great photos.

The Sand Dunes of Oregon

I attended a workshop in Oregon last August with Floofie, Merrique, and Zoe.  Three days and multiple locations with these three beautiful, talented, and intelligent women.  This was taken on the last day of the tour.  The location is a little inland from the coast at a fresh water lake.  There were a couple of fishermen there when we arrived, one in a boat.  They were quite interested in what was going on, on the shore.  Over the years, I've shot literally thousand...

St. Merrique

A little bonus post from my shoot with Merrique and Floofie.  This was taken a little while after my lens inexplicably fell off the camera.  It had to happen once in my career I guess.  No damage noticed except for a few scratches on the body of the lens.

Besties

Merrique and Floofie are best friends and in fact Merrique was the Maid of Honor in Floofie's wedding.  We shot this at the beginning of November when Merrique and Floofie were in town on a photo tour.  Over the years I've worked with them both numerous times, and I never grow tired of shooting with them.  As some of you know Floofie is the reason I started shooting models.  I saw her photo on a friend's timeline on Flickr and swore if I ever had the chance to shoot her I wou...

Madi

This is the full sized version of the photo of Madi, just for comparison.

Madi

Another photo of this great model.  As you can see it was very windy this day, but I love how the wind caught her hair and imparted movement into the photo.  I also love her hair even though from a processing point, it is very hard to process all the curls.

SJ

Continuing the theme, it was a cold and blustery day.  I love how this photo shows off Sarah Jane's muscles.  She obviously works out to maintain her physique.  You can't see the goosies unless you look really close.  Another of my favorites from this set.

SJ

Just a portrait version of the last photo just to illustrate how beautiful this woman is.  She's on the small side, but still a firecracker.  BTW she goes by the moniker of Wonderhussy.  You can Google it, and she will pop up.

It was a cold day in the neighborhood.  Sarah Jane and I had this shoot scheduled for about a month.  She didn't want to call it off so we went out and shot between the snow and rain storms that rolled through that day.  Thank goodness for seat warmers in the truck.  We would shoot until she turned blue, then retreat to the seat warmers.  We called it a little early, but SJ still takes the award for the iron maiden of the desert.

Jenn

I severely cropped this photo to showcase Jenn's upper torso and beauty.  She is very beautiful.

Jenn

Resuming this series of photos.  This photo was taken on September 11 when Jenn and her bestie Rae were in Las Vegas for a pole dancing competition.  Both Rae and Jenn compete.  The daytime temperature was in excess of 100 F at the end of the shoot and Jenn's car was almost out of gas so she stopped in Echo Bay Marina and refueled, had a popsicle, and went for a swim after the shoot.  Both her and I were messaging one another last evening about the shoot and about how many re...

Vivian

I had the privilege of shooting with this woman yesterday.  She has only been modeling for about 9 months, but is an extremely talented model.  She has a dance background and flows from pose to pose.  I look forward to working with her again and there will be more posts of her.  We got a lot of great photos and all of them, with the exception of 2 out of about 800, were really good. In the 2 she was bent over a little and her abdomen had a few visible rolls.  Go figure. ...

Candace

For someone who maintains she's lost her looks, she looks darn good.  Don't you agree?  I love her "come hither" look in this one.

Candace

I've gotten a request for more photos of Candace from a new subscriber.  Just a reminder to all my Patrons out there, if you want to see more of a particular model just send me a message.  I'm always happy to oblige.  These two shots remind me of a Star Wars theme and in fact this location was used as a Star Wars film set in one of the early Star Wars movies.  Although I don't recall any particular scenes like this, I'm sure they could have worked it in somehow :-))  Any...

Sienna

I shot this in early April in the Nevada desert.  It was starting to get warm, but we scheduled the shoot late in the afternoon.  It turned out to be a windy day in Nevada, go figure.  Sienna was an excellent subject and is one of the taller and younger models I work with.  She is extremely easy to work with and is a pro.  This was the first of 5 shoots I had with her over the next couple of weeks.  The first shoot with a model you haven't worked with is usually a l...

Inna's BnB

Inna requested a few photos of her back and butt, no face.  I sent her the following photos along with the final in this set.  I think we can all agree that she has a lovely back and butt combination.

Inna's BnB

Inna requested a few photo of just her back and butt, no face.  I sent her these and I must confess I'm a back and butt man.  Some men like legs, some like breasts, but give me a great back and butt anytime :-)  This is my favorite of the ones I sent her.

This one was selected just because it was taken in the landscape orientation.

Inna's BnB Request

Like I said, Inna requested a few back and butt photos showing her back and butt but not facing the camera.  These are the few I selected and sent her.

Inna

I love it when a model gets in touch and asks for a specific type of photo.  In this case, Inna messaged me and asked for a series of back and butt shots without her looking at the camera.  As you can see this is not one of the ones I sent her.  It gave me the opportunity to relook at this shoot searching for the types of photos Inna wanted.  I saw this one and said, "Self, you can't pass this one up again."  So after processing several photos of the type she asked for I...

More Madi

I know I've been a little slow posting this month.  I've had several shoots with some very beautiful subjects.  This is a bonus photo for those of you who have been patient.  Things are starting to settle down a bit so I should have time for more posting.  Another photo of this very beautiful and talented woman.

Madi

More of this beautiful woman in the Nevada desert.  It is near impossible to choose the best photos from this shoot.  Madi went through and chose many favorites, and I'm going through and trying to figure out how she chose just those from the many photos we got this day.  I sent her a message saying we need to get together and shoot again.

Merrique & Floofie

I spent the day with these two wonderful models traveling to various locations around southern Nevada.  Our last stop was an abandoned town up by Mesquite.  I used to shoot there quite a bit, but since the last time I was there, some jerks have come in and burned most of the structures down :-(  The rock walls still stand but the old structures are not safe to be anymore.  We were extremely disappointed.  Merrique and I shot there a couple of years ago but it was late in...

More Sierra

As you all probably know by now, Sierra is a very good friend.  We've seen her go through some tough times and have her in our thoughts constantly.  This was shot on her way through to Utah to get some business taken care of.  We didn't have much time before sunset but made the most of what we had.  I love shooting with her and we always seem to get some really good stuff.  I like this particular shot because she was backlit and the sun really turned her a nice shade of ...
