Jill

Although we didn't spend a lot of time at the lake, I think we got some great photos.  I really like how this one and a few others are voyeuristic.

I found a small towel in my truck for Jill to use to dry off.  As you can see by her red skin the water was not that warm.

As always thank you all very much for supporting me.  Jill and I are talking about doing something later this week in Nevada or early next week.  We'll see what happens if both of our schedules hold up.  Keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned.

Zoe was the last, but certainly not the least, model I shot with during April.  I was very fortunate to have worked with all of these amazingly talented women and there certainly will be more photos to come from these sessions.

As always thank you very much for supporting my photography.  There's plenty more where these came from and a few extras that I haven't included in this posting.  Stay tuned.

Dasha and I have shot together quite a bit over the last few years and I never get tired of creating art with this woman.  She is such a wonderful woman to work with and is very particular about her photographs.  We always get great photos.

I had just met Sienna a couple of weeks before this shoot.  She is wonderful to work with and a great model.  This was the first shot I took during this session.  It was inside a cavern in Gold Butte.  The light cascading down through the red rock formation really makes for a great photograph.

Ivy and I had last worked together a couple of years ago.  We both agreed it had been too long between shoots.  She was making a western loop from her home turf of Pennsylvania, and we had the opportunity for another shoot.  As an aside, we spotted the first, but not last, rattlesnake of the season during this shoot.

Kay Jay and I had scheduled this shoot, cancelled it, and rescheduled it numerous times.  We finally got the opportunity to shoot together again this past April.  She is a fabulous model and this was our first opportunity to shoot together solo.  The last time we shot together, she was travelling with another model.

April is one of the best months for outdoor nude photography in Nevada.  The temperatures usually aren't too hot nor too cold.  Inna and I scheduled this shoot last year about 6 months in advance.  The year prior, she and I shot at the end of January and it was darn cold. We didn't want to repeat that.

Merrique

Merrique and I spent the day inside at Photo Bang Bang.  We originally had scheduled the shoot outside, but it was a cold day in Vegas.  Curtis, who manages Photo Bang Bang, provided a welcome indoor warm location and provided a great deal of assistance with lighting.  If you need to rent a studio in Vegas, I highly recommend Photo Bang Bang.

I really enjoy the attitude displayed by Merrique in this photo, and I like the shoes and stockings wardrobe. I think it brings jus...

Merrique is just an extremely talented woman.  Her poses appear natural, but as she and I discussed, you try standing on your tip toes for 4 hours :-)  I just can't say enough good about her.  She is one of my favorite models to collaborate with.  She and I spent the day in studio, which is unusual for me.

Merrique

Merrique is a talented model requiring little to no direction.  We discussed the concept at the beginning of the shoot (in this case it was simple, I just wanted to shoot with studio lighting) and she ran through a series of poses.

All of these were done in Photo Bang Bang, a local studio in Las Vegas.  Lots of thanks to Curtis for setting the lighting and providing the space.

I finally produced some bodyscape images that I like.

I usually shoot a few bodyscapes during each shoot, but they rarely turn out.  In this instance I think they worked well.  Of course it may be Merrique's figure that's making it work.

She's just as beautiful from this side as the other.  I truly enjoy shooting with this woman.

As always, thank you very much for supporting my efforts.  This is the last post for now, and hopefully I'll be able to get back on schedule in the upcoming weeks.  I have a lot of photography to share with you all taken over the last few months, more of Merriquie, Floofie, Dasha, Ivy, Sienna, and others as well as some new stuff scheduled with Brennan, Gwen, Zoe, and others....

Ivy Lee

Ivy came up to my place in Nevada and we spent the day creating some beautiful photos.  I'm the world's worst at picking photos right after a shoot, so Ivy selected some (actually quite a few) that she recommended I process.  Here are the results. She's quite a talented model and photographer.

Ivy and I had shot together a couple of years ago at the Arizona Shoot Out.  We left there saying we needed to shoot again.  I must say I think we need to shoot way more often looking at these results.

Ivy had just finished the Arizona Shoot Out and traveled up to my place.

Ivy stayed at my place and we went out to the Redstone Dunes.  We found the first rattlesnake of the season but got some great photos.

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in a couple of weeks.  Ivy and I had set up a shoot in late April.  She originally spoke about late-April in Wyoming (she was making a whirlwind tour across the west) but we decided late-April was too cold for something up north. It turns out we were right about the location.

This is the last one for now.  I'm on the road quite a bit the next couple of weeks so my posting may be a little irregular.  I promise to get back...

Kay Jay

Kay Jay and I had scheduled and rescheduled this shoot several times this year.  We finally got together and created some great art.  Kay Jay maintains a Patreon page as well.  We spent the day together shooting at Redstone, the cement plant, and the dry lake bed.  I hope you enjoy the results.

We spent a few hours at Redstone shooting in the red rock formations.  I like how the rock reflects the light on the model.

Next stop was the cement plant and one of my favorite photos from the day.  This is taken inside the cement kiln with flash.  I really like how this reminds me of the planetary satellite that was sent up years ago.  I also really like how the kiln draws you right into the photo.

Every time I get to the cement plant there is a different set of graffiti.  This one was my favorite and I like how the grate out of frame casts the shadow across Kay Jay.

I like the cement plant because you can get so many different setups.  I like the way this pedestal acts like the base of a statue with Kay Jay as the goddess.  Straight out of Greek mythology.

Our final stop was at the dry lake bed.  By this time it was quite windy, but we still managed to get some great photos.

Last one for now.  As always thanks for following me.  I truly do appreciate your support.  Kay Jay and I got a lot of great photos on this day and there will be more postings of her.

Maria

The last one for now.  We shot quite a few more, and Maria asked me to choose 3 favorites for her calendar.  I just can't do it. We got so many great photos this day.  I wish the water had been a little bluer, but the algae is starting to bloom in the warm water.

As always thanks for supporting me.  There's a lot more to be posted from this shoot as well as our shoot from last year.  We also are planning a shoot in Wyoming this summer.  We said that last ye...

Okay switching it up now.  We had decided to shoot in 2 locations, the dry lake bed and along the shore of Lake Mead.  This one and the next are along the shore.  It was quite warm and the lake was a bit crowded, but not so crowded we couldn't find a secluded bay to shoot.

Maria

One of the reasons I like this particular lake bed is that there are quite a few little oasis of greenery (at least greenery for Nevada).  I think the contrast of the shrubbery and Maria's skin tone work extremely well.  And of course Maria plays to the camera extremely well.  One of the reasons I enjoy shooting with this woman is that it's very informal and a lot of fun interacting with her.  It's more fun than work, as any photoshoot should be.
