Another month, another busy + art blockful month. I didn't managed finished my short comic from previous month, and only managed to upload one feature art for this month. So, to make up for that, I included here a couple of old commission works that I haven't uploaded on my social media yet (smh I even didn't have time to keep my socmed consistently updated)

Initially planned to do another comic for this month. It's a six pages comic, but in normal modern world settings. With this, I should already have scifi, fantasy, and normal comic genre. But I couldn't finish it this month because busy with commissions, plus I have to go away for the whole week next week. I don't wanna rush it, otherwise the background gonna be bad. So I hope it's alright if I just post the WIP first, but compensate with one Illustration instead

Mixed digital and pencil sketches. Some of the sketch scans are really faint, some paper really doesn't pick up HB pencil lead.

After drawing on paper for so long, I can't draw on white canvas on my Clip Studio Paint anymore haha. Had to put really mid tones color on the canvas to make not so bright. And my monitor settings are already at 20% brightness. Made some walk cycle sketch because for some reason I had the urge to make game sprites.

This year I decided to get back on drawing traditionally, because I feel like it has been harder for me to focus to draw lately. I believe the many restriction I have with drawing on paper could help me to regain my focus and find joy in drawing again, and it was a good decision.
The experience kinda similar to when I got bored with photography, then when I tried film camera, I am forced to be more mindful with what I'm doing, and think thoroughly before taking every shot

Hell yea, finally finished this short comic! There are a lot of inconsistencies in the drawing in this one. I learned that I need to make more detailed character sheet for each character.
This is the reward for January. Next month, I'll post regular rewards like before. I still want to do more comic, but since this one took so much time, maybe not in then near future

For 2022, I'm planning to try making comic again. Even tho I already wanted to do more comic in 2021, but that didn't work out because making comic is so hard. But I almost finish making lineart for the previous comic I'm working on (the last 5 images in the post).
After I done with that short comic, I think I wanna explore more the clone story idea that I posted in March 2021. Maybe I'll think I'll try to make web comic form for this one, since I think webcomic format should be slight...
