Happy New Year

2023 in review has been one of many highs and lows for me. I was able to visit a long time friend over in Arizona, see the grand canyon and feel connected to a group of people who were complete strangers to me, but made me feel welcome in a way I haven't felt in a long time.

Belated Gift Part 4

A little more Reindeer shenanigans, since I'd started a short comic thumbnail idea last year, but decided to pick it up again and expand on it. And when a friend pitched a line from How the Grinch Stole Christmas, I just had to make the dialog and narration in rhyming couplets.

It's subject to change a bit before it's done, but I wanted to share what I've got so far!

The past 18 months had been rough, personally. 2020 happened, and then happened again in 2021. I lost a parent, I'd fallen out with some long-time friends in a bad way, I'd lost much of my own sense of stability and self worth. As you probably know, June was a slow month productivity-wise, as I had been spending much of my time looking for a place to live come August, which is an abject nightmare of a housing market bubble right now.

Things will probably remain busy like this until mid July, but I will try to post sketches and other content in the meantime

I'm posting again!

Firstly, I want to thank everyone who has been so patient and sticking with me during my extended absence of what I can call the worst months of my life. There's been a load of false-starts, practice, and mental effort to try and get myself back to something halfway normal, but at least I'm close enough that I can resume my posting here again.

So, that said, I will be starting to post comics again, and working to get back to my previous standard and frequency, and working to surpass it....
