These are just a mishmash of ideas. Editor approved all of them except for 2 and 5, I need to work on their designs some more. 

His thoughts were 'You need to use more references for Kung Fu Girl's clothes and  shoes. The collar and sleeves don't look right. Google "Cheong sam".  Watch out  for the face as well, the proportions are a bit off.

I'll need some time before I can post the last two characters on this list, you see, #1 is finalized while #2 only has a concept that needs to be refined.

Samus Returns

Today marks the release of the first "real" Metroid game in around a decade, I believe. I've been very much awaiting this. I'm a gigantic fan of Metroid and have deeply missed Samus... But she's back. And next year, she'll be back for Metroid Prime 4. I'm doing what I can to raise the hype on my side! At least I have more than enough time to finish the entire Prime Trilogy before it comes out next year.

Vegeta Ki Blast - Study Art

I really like how this one came out, I did it a few weeks ago! As anyone who knows me should know by now, I really adore drawing Vegeta. There's a lot of reasons honestly. He's fun, his design is great, I love drawing his armor from early on in the series... His attacks have a savagry to them that most of the other characters don't have save for Piccolo, which probably explains why I like Piccolo so much too. I don't draw Piccolo as much though... Maybe I should do more of him soon!

Rock Lee Sketch Study

I shouldn't be drawing very many 'standing' poses for my training, I got those down. But I was at this part and I figured I might as well sketch it.

I kinda hurt my drawing arm yesterday by massaging it too hard with a plastic massager, so now I have a GIANT bruise there and my entire bicep is swollen as hell. Like goddamn bro. I'm gonna give it a few days to heal up, see where I'm feeling. Don't know if I'm gonna do any drawing because of this tomorrow.

Dangerous, Unexplored Lands

In this write-up I dissect a popular shounen trope at the moment and go over the ideas I had regarding working it into my own world in a non-intrusive and organic way!

Like I said in the document, I didn't think about specifically wanting to add it because it's a trope, but because when I thought about it I felt it would naturally fit into my setting.

Rock Lee vs Gaara Study Sketch

I didn't bother detailing Gaara's sand here, as these studies are supposed to be quick and capture the feel and speed of the subject and not really the absolute detail of it. Still, I like how it came out!

Since I don't have my G-Pens yet, all the tiny speedlines on Lee were done using ballpoint-pen. I was surprised that they kinda worked, and didn't look terrible. It wouldn't fly in an actual black/white comic though.
