The long hunt for the bad guys has come to an end. The final clash is in the Villain's Lair.
You have made a full circle from the starting town. The exhausting hunt, meticulous investigation, impossible rolls, and luck - they all led to the starting quest giver. The inconspicuous innkeeper was behind the gruesome crimes. You push aside all the good memories while you descend into darkness.
Time to wash down the dust of the road with cheap ale in the Town Pub.
Lifeline of every settlement, information hub, and quest hive - taverns, inns, and pubs are the place to come. The owner of this one was fed up with making beds for adventurers and drunken people and shifted his focus to serving the most mediocre ale you can find. Cheers!

Deep underground, the search is finally done. We are somewhere in this Flooded Cavern.
Last entry: We found the chests and spent the entire day prying them open. There must be a way. When I finished writing these words, silence was deafening. One of the chests seemed to move, and sand quickly absorbed the blood. Oh well, here goes nothing...
While traveling through the forest, the adventurers stopped at the Roadside Trader.
After a long time, a house! The adventurers felt relief, sore from the dusty road and the challenges they faced. They even knew this guy; they must spend coin to get his famous fish stew. Once they arrive, they see a ransacked house and a trader hiding under the hatch. They steal something valuable and dangerous, just in time when the party wants to take a well-deserved break.
