For my good ol' friend Ozawk! Can you believe I haven't drawn my heron Henri in years, and the first thing he does is go straight to 7'11'' tall, goddess Eva and have some fun, just like that? It is what it is!
Had a lot of fun drawing this, and it was a good practice to test a new way of inking and shading pictures in a quick way. Wasn't all that quick after all, but the results are nice!

Revisiting the commission I've been working on for YEARS for Grinder of their absolutely lovely vulture gal Lulu. Last version didn't feel distinguished for the character, and hey, I got better since then. Yes, she's half naked and removing more, but still, she's a distinguished bird.
It's nice to draw some truly squishy characters, especially birds, and Lulu, who I've been a big fan for like, a decade, is the squishiest of birds. Soft down on top of soft bird, what's not to love?

Just finished Skarneti's (Still unnamed) character design commission, and boy oh boy, was it a blast to work on! He's got a very specific mix of softness, feathery fluffiness, and classical hippogryph qualities, "if you know what I mean", that were just a lot of fun to design and mesh together. Add Fwingers over that, and yes, it was a challenge, but a fun one.
I hope he gets to see the world, be used in the best of ways and live his best OC life.

Somehow, Henri attracted the attention of the 7'11'' tall dragon bird Eva herself? Well, that happened. I was happy to lend him to my good buddy Ozawk's girl for a spin. And here they are, having a good time! I really wanted to incorporate some action around that big tail of hers.
She's just pulling him closer as he uses that big fluffy tail as leverage. I like it so far! Going to throw some flat colors on that soon.

The second of those reference sheet slot has been claimed by Skarneti, and the subject is an interesting one, I've got to say.
A soft, yet very strong, pigeon hippogryph with wing hands! No sure I've ever seen such combo, and I like the challenge.

After spending 2 weeks sick, it was about time I came up with something nice for ya'll! So here's my bird Clara being happy to see you! And just as tradition goes for her, she's not super good at fitting clothes on correctly ( or clothes at all, as in the second version of the pic ). Just tall bird problems, you know. I love her anyway.

Well, here it is! In it's early sketch phase, the quite SPICEY comic of Rein's physical therapy at Kessie's office. I'll let you imagine how it goes between the two. Includes 22 poses of my hawk lady Kessie and Rein's gryphon fixing some lower back muscle tensions and easing some knots! And even BETTER. There's a story that goes with it too! And it's a damn good one.
It's been a long time coming, and really not something that's my usual style, but it's been a lot of fun to come up with...
Turkey vultures are my fav. Floating about, circling above, chill, stable, happy, hoping to find something dead. Good fellows, really.
Done for the Vulture Awareness Day 2021! Be aware of vultures, they're neat, among other things.
