Away for the weekend!

Heading out to spend the weekend at bae's mother's house. We'll be going to an art festival and I'm super excited be saw I haven't been to one for years now. Smoke and Bones: McReyes Zine

My application was accepted into a McReyes Zine! I'm so happy, you guys have no idea! So over the course of the next couple months you'll likely see wips of my piece and after the all-clear is given, a post of the finished piece! 

I do have a desert/fallout-ish inspired McReyes comic I've been planning, so I think I might do a little thing for that? I'm not sure I've got a list right now! 

All I know is I'm super excited, after applying to a total of like six or seven zines and...

Schedule Worked Out

Okay, so I actually sat down and thought of a schedule because I was driving myself up a wall trying to prioritize pieces each day. So it is as follows: Monday: Patreon/Prints Tuesday: Commissions Wednesday: Patreon/Prints Thursday: Commissions Friday: Patreon/Prints Saturday: Fun doodly stuff (leaves me a day off essentially) Sunday: Art studies

Just a note.

I'll be uploading some pinups on other sites I'm on as means to try and bring in more patrons. Patreon and commissions supplements my income and if I wish to be a successful creator on Patreon (and make this supplemental my primary one day), I've got to market myself a bit better. I will not be posting variations however, those will remain patron exclusive for several months at least.

 I wanted to let you guys know first. I keep tinkering and trying new things, so we'll see how this goes!...

Heading Back West

Hey guys, I'm leaving for the bus station tomorrow and will be leaving back to Iowa on Friday and should be arriving there on Saturday (I feel like a package haha~) and Sunday I'm heading to the state fair! It'll be my first one ever, so I'm really excited. 

So that means I won't be working much. I'm drawing as much as I can right now so I can jump back to work on Monday. I'll have one of my sketchbooks handy so I might have some sketches and whatnot given a couple layovers. If I take any...

Unfinished Okami Hanzo

Sometimes I make big plans for things and get ahead of myself. This was intended to be a print but I kept having problems getting his face and hair right so I burned myself out trying to fix it. So, here it is - it's not bad but just not what I had pictured in my head.

I might throw it up in my Society6 shop once I get that workin' but for now it'll just float here.

Avitus Rix - MCC zine

AHHHH I don't think I've posted this here but this is a piece I submitted for the Magic City Con's zine! This was an amazing experience and really put me through my paces but I'm so, so proud that I was able to accomplish this kind of work in a couple weeks!

I've made some changes to the reward tiers as I'm working hard to revamp my Patreon page. I think the new rewards will offer a bit more variety to those that pledge more and these are rewards I've seen from other patreon pages and it seems to work for them!

The first of several pin-ups I've planned for August for you guys! I've been in a Mass Effect mood and my sister said I've never drawn Vega so of course I had to! I don't think I did too bad considering this was my first time drawing this beefcake. I so badly wanna share this because i'm just so darn proud of it, haha.

So I've been swamped with work as of late. I've been snagging up as many commissions as I can due to some financial stresses but I couldn't rest till I at least sketched you awesome peeps something! And Doomfist was finally dropped! So it wasn't hard to figure out who I wanted to doodle this month.

I have a few more sketches I'm trying to finish for y'all. My birthday is on the 25th, so I sorta wanna do something self-indulgent? Who knows! 

Elias Gagne headshot sketches

So the main protag of my comic is this guy right here.

Elias Gagne is what's called an ''Offspring''. Offspring refers to the children of human women and draxii progenitors. 9/10 times the unions between draxii and human was non-consensual, as the invading alien forces were trying to out populate humans and force colonization infusion by breeding. This means many children born from this are abandoned or caste aside. 

Offspring children are born with many resistances to disease and...

Okami Hanzo and Wolf (commissioned)

This adorable commission was a little easier than I predicted. It's been well over a year since I've drawn a wolf so having both a wolf headdress and an actual wolf was a little tricky but nothing that couldn't be drawn! Thank the internet and Pinterest for dozens of references and tutorials!
