first off - I loved the flashbacks! I think they really added so much to not only this episode but just the show as a whole. we always hear about lorelai being pregnant and leaving from either her or Emily's point of view so getting to watch it play out was such a great addition and I enjoyed that so much! lukey Luke had his date and jess of course was being jess 🤣 and Georgia has officially arrived. good on Rory and lorelai for showing up and helping out! 🩶

there was so much that happened this episode relationship wise but not necessarily plot wise and felt a bit more like a filler episode, however- I do think it showed us a lot of relationships changing. like Paris and Rory going through their 'fight', and sookie and Jackson working through what isn't and wasn't cheating, but some feelings 🤣 then of course, Emily being sued, that was quite something and rounding it out, lorelai new love interest!? is that Charlie swan!?

I love carnival type episodes so I was so excited for this one. the tension between dean and jess is just so good. this may be one of my favorite episodes yet, maybe even my favorite and I'm OBSESSED with lane and Dave. obsessed. the way he puts in the work and effort to be near her is everything. she is so deserving of it and it makes my heart swell. the whole dean/jess scene at the end was giving me a heart attack, and I feel like that is just going to become a bigger issue moving forward. first Steven, second was the whole making up situation, third was Conrad's situation and fourth was THAT LAST SCENE. too many tragedies in one episode. I have no clue why I was so surprised that everyone in town seemed to care that jess had a car, but I still was. getting to see Luke take the piss out of jess in such a loving way was so much fun. some harmless joking around, I loved seeing that. also, I'm fully aware jess is a child and you have to be an adult to donate, but the way they were talking, acting like he's done all this stuff, I wouldn't have been surprised if he somehow cheated the system to make a quick buck 🤣

oh how happy I was to see us go the nurse's office. the nurse brought such comedic relief to the original so getting to see that character again in this one was so much fun! I hope we get to see more of her as well.
