Vulvapods are giant plant hybrids, that are best known for their stimulating pheromones and slime, which is a very strong aphrodisiac if turned into a potion.

They live deep inside of merran forests, often accompanied by Arboreals or one of the rare Ivyblossom-queens.

Unable to move, the female-only Vulvapods just hang from the trees in silence except from their lustful moanings whenever they stimulate themselves with their tongues.

Arboreals are spirits and guardians of Merran forests and are also an incarnation of fertility and primal force.

Calm versions of the Arboreals are called Dryads. In contrast to the Fury-form, a Dryad often helps friends of their grove and even offers special gifts from time to time (often in the form of fertilizers etc.)

Arboreals are erratic beings tho, a single mistake can make them shift from their peaceful Dryad into their Fury-form. For this reason, most villages offer parts of their harvests to the nearby Arboreal to prevent any outburst of fury - It´s also the main reason sharp things and...

Arboreal Fury

Arboreals are spirits and guardians of forests and also an incarnation of fertility and primal force. Like nature itself, Arboreals are very erratic and have different foms. In their Fury-form, Arboreals can modify their bodies with sharp claws made of bark and thorny vines. They are capable of nature-based magic and are able to listen to plants around them.

Strong emotions also cause theit body to produce a powerful fertilizer.

Broodmother Sketch

If a hive is big enough, Spitbug queens are able to create Broodmothers through feeding their own eggs to a person or lesser bug.

Broodmothers hide deep inside the hives most of the time and are true breeding-machines. Once all other bugs around them are sated, they start to feed their eggs to the broodmothers. The swallowed biomass gathers inside their huge abdomen and starts to form new spitbugs, which are pressed out of the back-part of the huge sack.
