Planning it all out

Some of you might have noticed it's been a few days between posts on Patreon, not including snuggle with Addy and Sammy. Well, there's a reason!

We just didn't have anything to show you, because before we can start making art of all the different scenes and stuff, we need to have those scenes planned out!  Night One is a 2-ish hour game that functions more like a demo for the much bigger game that is the rest of Love Sucks.

Every Dream Starts the Same: Girldick Edition

A preview of the additional mode for Night One we intent to add some point in the future, letting players play Sarah rather than Theo. To keep the scenes the same, we'll be making her a futa at first. Even further in the future, we'd also like to add an option to play as a 100% female, too! 

We've got a lot to do before then, but it's on the list!

WIP Background

This background isn't finished yet! It's a pumpkin patch, and the most eagle-eyed among you may be able to tell it's missing one very important part. But it's coming along nicely. I love the pretty glowing bits. 

The design process for 'Why not both?'

These are the earliest concept sketches for the 'Why not both?' scene in the game that Aila drew up when the scene was really coming together in our heads. You can see exactly how the actual composition of the scene changed very little after we had the sketches made! :D

Sneak Peek: The Second Dream

Every night, MC has been having the same dream. But when Naomi involves herself and their fate is no longer sealed, things change! This is a sneak peek of the dream sequence in Night Two :D

I think that Naomi's fire pushing away all the purple darkness is symbolic of her being the reason MC is still alive.

Aila assured me that it's just because she wanted to draw Naomi's boobies.

Devlog 1: How the Nicest Person in the World made a Mean Quarter Demon

ADDY FLOOFED

When Addy gets frightened, she poofs into her shifted form. Unfortunately she's a big clumsy doofus and is so big she has to crouch and duck down just to fit on the screen next to everyone else.

If you're on our Discord, you might have already heard last night, but... We just got approved to upload our game to Steam, which is amazing. I never imagined that I'd one day have something that I helped make go on Steam, and I'm pretty sure it's Frosto's life-long dream as a game developer. We're very happy.

UI Work

We're working on having a shiny and sexy UI that's different from the plain old default boring box.  It's still a work in progress, but we'd like to hear what you have to think!

The first image was the first iteration, it looks nice but it's too big and chunky. Too distracting and covers up too much of the screen. We're not gonna use it, but you can look at it anyway :D

Early concepts / designs

We posted these to Patreons on Discord a little earlier, and now I'm putting them here too for anyone interested :D

Tiers are active! (Existing patrons, you gotta do a thing to get them!)

First of all, the important bit for existing Patrons! With the addition of tiers, those of you who are donating at the amounts required to be eligible for a certain tier aren't automatically added to that tier. Sadly, Patreon doesn't work like that, you'll have to manually join the tier of your fancy (from the My Membership tab on our Patreon page), otherwise, you won't get added to the tracking, and we won't know to give you your benefits, and the amount you give each month won't cha...
