I think this is the best tutorial you can find out there, in terms of simply stamping one texture onto another. I had to look around to find an up to date tutorial for this latest edition of Blender, that didn't include a bunch of unnecessary stuff. Still, it's rather long, and the guy's accent is hard to decipher.
Basically, you want to import the texture you want to stamp in the texture properties panel (the checkerboard button) of the scene outliner, then hit ctrl+tab go to texture paint mode, and go to the "texture" option within that mode, where you can select "stencil." The stencil can be stenciled onto your model now!
We still have the problem of our chosen tattoo being super low res, and showing hella aliasing in close-up. Thankfully, my buddy Noun came through, and provided us with the high res spade that I attached as the final image.
Now we can properly copy GeneralButch!

It's hard to visualize how quickly the animation is going to move when you can only play it back at half speed, but I think I did an ok job here. I'm going to change the rate at which her eyes close, and add some movement to the corner of her mouth. Let me know if you can think of some other changes!

I'm assuming everyone got this email, and not just creators, but these are some big changes.
The really big one is the second one. As a user, you can now sue Patreon directly without having to go through an "arbitration." Before, we all signed a ToS that stipulated that we would agree to settle our grievances with Patreon through that arbitration system. A system where Patreon pays all the fees, but the court basically favors them.
It all went tits-up for Patreon when some right-wing talking head named Owen Benjamin was banned, and he decided to instruct his patrons to all request arbitration simultaneously. As they had been effectively "robbed" by Patreon of their favorite creator. I forget how many people, but like 100 or even 1000 requested arbitration. The system which Patreon had set up to protect itself from legal action now cost them a shitload of legal fees, as they had to pay for all these arbitrations.
Hence why they made it so you can no longer pull that stunt on them. However, now they are vulnerable to being sued directly by creators whom they ban. So, us controversial content creators are hoping that they will ride us a little less hard when it comes to the ToS...
I'm not certain yet, though. Patreon is first and foremost beholden to Mastercard's highly strict rules about content that is permitted to be financed. They even got on my ass about that animation I did of the Frozen girls with huge dicks. I didn't even recall that they were sisters until I got the email threatening to suspend my account.
Also, hopefully Patreon doesn't just get sued into oblivion now lol!
I know this isn't our usual content, but I felt like I had to share and clarify what the implications are of this event.

Ok
Step 1: Click your model's body, in object mode, and hit the tiny wrench button in the properties tab. Disable the subsurf modifier in viewport, but not in render.
Step 2: Switch all views to solid mode (so everyone is a hideous grey blob).
Step 3: Now make every other actor and every scene prop except the character you are animating invisible in the viewport.
Geez. I thought switching to solid mode would be the limit of how primitive I can make the models, but each one of them takes up a bunch of processing power apparently. I wonder if the next step is to make the model invisible and just animate the rig bones lol

I don't know how other people get such fluid results in Blender, when half the models seem to lag when you move their bones, and the framerate tanks when you play the animation back even when everyone is displayed as a featureless grey shape.
I'm thinking this looks ok so far, though!
